Production logistics is the principal part of iron & steel enterprise logistics. It is close with steel production process. With the development of economy, traditional production logistics management method becomes weak in intensifying production logistics management for iron & steel industry, while it is an opportunity to the innovation of iron & steel industry production logistics management. Therefore, the current problems of the research and application of production logistics management in iron & steel industry are analyzed. Based on the application in Dalian Steel Plant, Dongbei Special Steel Group, the dissertation studies Integrated Production Logistics Management for Iron & Steel Industry (SIPLM) method system and implementation techniques. The concrete researches include the following.On the basis of integrated management theory, SIPLM system structure was put forward. SIPLM BOM multi-views management model supporting process integration, SIPLM hierachical management model based on ERP/MES/PCS and SIPLM material tracking management model based on production batches were built.Orient to steel production logistics process, the steel product structure design solution based on product lifecycle attribute-sets, concise product material codes and BOM supporting process description were proposed, and uniform product structure data model was set up. With Source-BOM was defined by Engineering BOM and Process planning BOM, BOM multi-views mapping technique was presented for iron & steel industry based on a single data source. BOM multi-views integrating application framework model supporting process integration was built for iron & steel industry. They are the basis of SIPLM.Based on steel product features hierarchical design and gradual solution, production process guiding knowledge rules was mined by Rough Sets methods. A novel process planning scheme based on Staged & Hierarchical Case-Based Reasoning (SH-CBR) system was put forward, Process Case Retrieval Nets (PCRN) was improved, and process planning approach and algorithm basis of SH-CBR were discussed in iron & steel industry. By dint of production management theory like Manufacturing Resource Planning (MRPII), Just in Time (JIT) et al, the integrated production planning management model is constructed for iron & steel group. The all correlative models, rules and instances were given.SIPLM batch-based description method of material process state for iron & steel industry was put forward, and the three-dimensional describing model of material process state was composed with process, attribute and static dimension. The complete description of material process state can be implemented in steel making process, and the traceability of product quality can be ensured. SIPLM production logistic tracking model was set up based on SIPLM description method of material process state, the data transition model and arithmetic from production logistic tracking to quality and cost were put forward. The basis of activity management was provided for quality and cost management accord to furnacenumbers and activities. The instances of enterprise application were given.Integrating SIPLM method and information technology, the integrated production logistic management support system framework was presented. Combineing the production logistic management actuality of the case enterprise, Object-Oriented system analysises and designs were studied. Good results are achieved through the implementation of SIPLM method and its support system within the enterprise. The SIPLM method and its information support system research are in favor of promoting production logistic management theory and practice for iron & steel industry, which has practical significance to iron & steel industry at present.
