Salt exists in marine atmosphere by aerosol form, and seagoing vessel need desalted air usually in order to extend life of engine and other equipments. At the same time, in order to meet some special requirements at the shore, the dust has been removed. Gas turbine demonstrates its formidable vitality by the merits of light weight, big power, easy operation and the smart mobility and so on. But as we know, it needs amounts of air when working, which made the demand of desalting and dust more stringent. Aim to meet more and more strict requirements of marine gas turbines, the cyclone separator are added into traditional three-staged moisture separator for improve segregate efficiency, which formed a new type cyclone moisture separator. In the thesis, this new type of marine moisture separators are simulated numerically with corresponding experimental study conducted, so that references for design and make of high-powered marine moisture separators are supplied. Considering the characteristic of new cyclone filter and development status of marine moisture separators, below works had been done:1. Obtained numerical simulation results of flow fields in cyclone separators of different stagger angle in single phase, and got resistance characteristic. Provided the numerical method more close to fact, which includes establishment method of models, transformation form of governing equation, the k-εmodel was used to simulate the internal flow field.2. Obtained numerical simulation results of flow fields in cyclone separators of different stagger angle in two phases, including air-liquid two phases and air-solid two phases, and got efficiency characteristic of five models. The hypothesis of initial and boundary conditions and enactment of disperse model was used.3. The fomula of resistance and efficiency are given by model of flow fields in cyclone separators of different stagger angle in single phase and two phase. 4. Considering reduce resistance and improve efficiency, a new pattern of cyclone separators with bend blade is introduced, and its resistance and efficiency characteristic is also performed;5. Simulated the selected cyclone separator with large eddy simulation (LES). The Smagorinsky-Lilly sub-grid model is used to model motions of small-scale structures. During numerical simulation, the SIMPLE algorithm method is applied. The central-differencing spatial discretization scheme and the second order accuracy finite difference for the temporal discretization are used. Simulation gives satisfactory distribution of the vorticity fields and other parameters. Compared with k-εturbulent model, the results of LES are better for the distribution of parameters and show the coherent structures of inner flow clearly, which provides a feasible method to lucubrate inner flow field of cyclone separators;6. Reconstructed special experimental wind tunnel is used for resistance and efficiency study of cyclone filter and test numerical simulation results. The research could provide theoretic and practical references for the design and optimization of new type separators in the future.
