An experimental and theoretical investigation in atmospheric pressure and circumstance temperature, on a new type of cyclone separator, is presented here. This new type of cyclone separator has those characteristics: compose of several separators with 200mm cyclone-diameter, dispose inside the boiler, gas-solid two-phase-flow axes inlet and same direction's outlet.The experimental work can be divided into four parts:1. Erect two test-beds, one for horizontal cyclone separator, another for vertical cyclone separator. Get all the necessary units ready.2. Prosecute the experimentation, write down all the test data, and analysis these data, find out the laws in this new type of cyclone separator.3. Parallel the test data and numerical simulation result, assess THE NUMERICAL SIMULATION PROGRAM OF GAS-SOLID TWO-PHASE-FLOW IN CYCLONE SEPARATOR, in order to improve it later.4. Design a cyclone separator, to be used in XueChengQu Power Plant CFB Boiler.This article put forward for the first time that when a cyclone separator have a high separate efficiency(D50<20μm), the separator efficiency reduction caused by the tiny granules collisions, is greater than the reduction caused by the granules collide the separator wall.
