Pavement performance evaluation is the precondition and very important work for the pavement maintain, servicing, covering and adding surface. It is a broad scale research task among the international pavement scholars to evaluate pavement performance using new Nondestructive test equipment and evaluation technology recent years. The dissertation, basing on the traditional evaluation guideline methods which aim at pavement maintain, combining the pavement covering and adding surface field practice, has done research on the evaluation of the pavement performance and introduced dynamical index and new Nondestructive test technology. Pavement performance was evaluated and classified using manual NN. Through extensive investigate Stat., field test, data collection, theory calculate and system analysis, the evaluation methods of pavement performance have been researched on different area, structure, climate, atmosphere and destroy forms. And the pavement performance evaluation database system has been established, and it would be helpful to the research on the long-term pavement performance and design, construction, maintain, service and rebuild.Chapter one The dissertation introduce the status of national highway construction and pavement maintain, and the essence ideology of the pavement evaluation methods among national and abroad has been analyzed synthetically. The application status of the Nondestructive and dynamical index in the pavement performance evaluation and their development basing on the traditional test methods has been introduced. The key points, the research content and the innovation of the dissertation have also been presented.Chapter two The various guideline systems of pavement evaluation and test investigation have been analyzed, and the influence characteristic of various test evaluation guideline on the pavement performance, and the test evaluation guideline standard and the evaluation control guideline have been presented. The synthesis evaluation methods of the asphalt pavement and the cement concrete pavement have been investigated separately. The mechanism and field appliance status of such Nondestructive equipment asFWD and GRP have been introduced detailedly.Chapter three The dynamical performance of the pavement load has been analyzed. The dynamical response characteristic and the dynamical time rule of FWD loads of the multilayer elastomer system pavement structure under the active loads have been investigated. The respond rules of the pavement to the FWD loads has been demonstrated and fitted. According to the pavement structure dynamical analyze theory, the principle and process of the pavement modulus back-calculation have been discussed. The appliance ideas of the dynamical modulus among the pavement evaluation, the dynamical characteristic and correlative dynamical parameters of the cement concrete pavement surface, basement and subsoil have been investigated, and the contrast relationships between dynamical and static modulus of the cement concrete pavement have been established, and the evaluation standard of the structure layers' dynamical modulus of the cement concrete pavement has also been presented.Chapter four Basing on the analyze of the pavement bearing strength using Winkler subsoil model, modulus back-calculation was done through the FWD dynamical basin. The dynamical parameter was regarded as evaluation guideline, and through investigating the change characteristic of the basin and modulus under different destroy boards, different area and different level loads, the identify methods of the pavement bursted have been given and we advise to use synthesize modulus ratio to evaluate the pass-loads capacity of the joints. We have also discussed the influence of different level loads to the joints pass-loads capability, and confirmed the commonness and oneness of the influence of the pass-loads and bursted to the basin and modulus under the critical loads, and the range of the critical loads was also given.
