Aiming at the characteristics of product lifecycle management, make-to-order and engineer-to-order product, the technology architecture of configuration identification for product lifecycle was proposed. Its key technologies were researched. Associated with the application project, these technologies were validated. The main work of dissertation is dissertated in the followings:Chapter 1 gives the review and history of the development of theory and application research for product lifecycle management and configuration management. The shortage of present research for configuration management is proposed, and the research content and architecture of the dissertation is presented.Chapter 2 puts forward the definition of configuration management for product lifecycle, configuration identification for product lifecycle and the content of configuration identification for product lifecycle. On the basis of these, the technology architecture of configuration identification for product lifecycle was advanced. The way of configuration identification for product lifecycle was proposed. And the key technologies--the family modeling, configuration design and version management were researched.Chapter 3 puts forward the meta-model technology to build the product data model for lifecycle, based on the analysis of requirement of product lifecycle management and the characteristics of data model for lifecycle. The process of meta-model modeling was given. It discussed all kinds of object-chains, classification modeling of parts family, product family model and product model in the product data model for lifecycle. Using the method of combining the meta-model modeling and ontology technology, the product data model ontology for lifecycle based on the meta-model was set up. It serves for all departments of product lifecycle.Chapter 4 presents the ECA rules to describe configuration knowledge and the tabular layouts of article characteristic(TLAC)to build master model of parts family , and sets up the product configuration model on this basis. It researches on the establishment of the relation of configuration rules, solution of the rule conflicting, the principle of part modeling and variant design based on TLAC, the solution of configuration design.On the basis of analyzing the version type, evolvement modes and factors of data model in the product lifecycle, Chapter 5 describes the structure and the evolvement process of product family and product by using the method of combining formalization configurable mapping matrix and directed acyclic graph provides the theoretic foundation for building the product data version model for the lifecycle, and dissertates the relative technologies for the version control for product data model for lifecycle.Chapter 6 takes the three-series industrial steam turbine produced by Hangzhou Steam Turbine Co. Ltd for example, and also validates the key technologies configuration identification for product lifecycle in this dissertation by employing the Smarteam4.0 platform that integrates self-developed TLAC management module.Chapter 7 summarizes the dissertation and prospects the future research work.
