The best process had been built by using supercritical carbon dioxide(CO2)to extracting lignans from Schisandra chinensis, and different originalqualities of S.chinensis were evaluated systematically and comprehensively.Both macroscopical and microcosmical methods had been utilized anddeveloped in this paper.1 The ultraviolet and visible spectrophotometry(UV-vis) for measuring the whole lignans contents and the high performance liquid chromatography(HPLC) for measuring deoxyschisandrin and Y -schisandrin contents were generally and systematically determined.2 The transferring substance curse and solubility factors that affected Lignans extraction by using supercritical CO2 were studied, and the best process parameter were determined. The experiment result showed that the extraction rate of lignans from S.chinensis by using supercritical CO2 was 1.015%, which was 1.5 times of traditional method.3 By analyzing and comparing the high performance liquid chromatography fingerprint spectrum(HPLC-FPS) of different S. cinensis origins, the compound composition showed obviously comparability in four S.chinensis origins; by computing from HPLC-FPS the similarity degree of S.chinensis was higher between Weihe and Taoshan origins than any others. By comparing lignans, deoxyschisandrin and y -schisandrin in different S. chinensis origins, the lignans compound contents were much higher in Weihe than other origins.4 Modelling fruit set in different S. chinensis origins by the artificial neural network technology, the result showed Taoshan and Weihe territories were more suitable for S. chinensis growing.By studying supercritical CO2 for extracting lignans from S. chinensis, the green extraction aim was realized; by comparing and analyzing HPLC-FPS in different S. chinensis origins and imitating and analyzing fruit set of S. chinensis from artificial neural network technology, the reliable basis and research method on evaluating quality of different S. chinensis origins were provided; preferable S. chinensis for medical market could be provided; the essential guarantee for criterion of Traditional Chinese Medicine was likely implemented and standardization was improved. A new way to exploit S. chinensis was provided further.
