| Wuweizi used to be called "beiwuweizi", is the mature fruit of Schisandra chinensis(Turcz) Baill. which belongs to Magnoliaceae, mainly distributing in the areas of northeast. Wuweizi was ranked as the top grade in "Shen Nong Ben Cao Jing", it has been used for constringency, soothing the nerves and protecting the liver as a traditional Chinese medicine. In recent research, the effective components of wuweizi are lignans, they have evident effects for accelerating the synthesis of glycogen, depressing serum CPT level, protecting liver cells. We take a system research to wuweizi in this study.In this experiment, 7 compounds were isolated from 95%EtOH extracts of wuweizi by the methods of silica gel, preparation and so on. 6 constituents were identified by means of physical and chemical properties and spectral analysis. Another one constituents have not been identified. The 6 constituents which were identified areγ-Schisandrin, Deoxyschizandrin,β-sitosterol, Schisandrin, tetradecanoic acid, Protocatechuic acid.Quality assessment of Schisandra chinensis(Turcz) Baill. was systematically studied in this thesis. The content of Deoxyschizandrin,γ-Schisandrin, Schisandrin existing in different parts and different gathering time of the wuweizi fruit was detected. The best gathering time and the best growing years were ascertained. Items reflecting the quality of this medical material were examed widely. The fingerprint spectrums of this medical material were developed by HPLC. The samples produced in different places and batches were analyzed and the similarity and fuzzy cluster were used to evaluate the results. All the above studies provided scientific basis for the quality assessment of this medical material.At last, the extraction technology and the preparation technology of preparation were researched, and the quality criterion tests of preparation were established.
