Studies On Germplasm Collection, Evaluation, Preservation And Use Of Wild Dianthus From Xingjian

Species resource of Xinjiang wild Dianthus was collected and comprehensively investigated in this study。1. Based on field investigation of 2 wild Dianthus natural distribution areas: Tianshan Mountains located in the middle of Xinjiang and Altay Mountains which was the north of Xinjiang.2. We based on a field investigation and analysis of the collected Xinjiang Wild Dianthus specimens and museum specimens, and revised the position of Xinjiang Wild Dianthus in classification systems. Two new species were discovered and named Dianthus altaicus L.X.Dong & C.Y.Yang and Dianthus nanshanicus C.Y.Yang & L.X.Dong and at last make the list of Dianthus species family.3. We collected pollen.seed and leaf of 10 wild Dianthus species in the Tianshan Mountains and Altay Mountains from Xinjiang,which were observed under the scanning electron microscope (SEM).4. We measured the ITS sequences using Direct sequence of PCR products methods, and analyzed the relationship among each group of Xinjiang Wild Dianthus. The results showed that the length ITS sequences in 10 species of Xinjiang wild Dianthus were from 610bp to 614bp), had smaller variation and the difference is 4bp.Compared with the length of the ITS of L.coronata in out-group genus Lychnis which had obvious differences.
