Build mold group for being ovariectomized model group, catgut embedding group choose the points Guanyuan (CV4), Shenshu (BL23) (pair)andTianshu(ST25). Positive medicine group (D) gives full amount of Estrogen. Catgut embedding with 1/4 medicine group (C) add 1/4 amount of positive medicine group. Pseudo-operation group takes the operation course except ovar iectomy.Course of treatment: catgut embedding group treated once every five days, medicine group, model group, pseudo-operation group infused with medicine or water every 5 days. And there are apparent no difference of E2 and T between the treat groups (B and C) and the positive constrast group D (P>0. 05).(H) The results and changings of the value of FSH , LH in the serums of the female SD rats after the last treatment.The levels of FSH and LT of the rats serums are comparative difference between the model group and normal group apparently ( P<0. 01) . After treating, there are various decreases of LH (P<0. 01), comparing treatment groups ( B and C ) to model group , but the decrease of FSH is not apparent ( P>0. 05) . And as compare to normal group, there are apparent no differences (P>0.05) of the levels of FSH and LH of the treat groups(B and G) . And there are apparent no differences of FSH and LH between the treat groups (B and C) and the positive constrast group D (P>0. 05).Experiment Two: The impacts on the indexs of bone remodeling with catgut embedding in the body of the female ovariectomized rats.There are no apparent differences of BGP and AKP of serum of big rats between pseudo-operation group and normal group. The level of 0C of serum of the rats in model group A increase apparently (P<0.001) relative to normal group. After treat ing, there is great difference (P<0. 001) of decrease of treat group C relative to model group A. There is somewhat decrease of BGP of group B compare to model group A, but no apparent difference (P>0. 05). The levels of BGP of every group compare to positive constrast group , only group A and B have a difference (P<0.01, P<0. 05 ) , and that of others are not apparant (P>0. 05). As for the levels of AKP of every other groups compare to groups model A and normal F, pressent no differences among them.Experiment Three: The impacts on the levels of free radicals with catgut embedding in points in the body of the female ovariectomized rats.The I eve I s of SOD and MDA of serums of the f ema I e SD rats are comparat i ve differences between the model group and normal group apparently (P<0. 01). After treat ing , there is apparant increase of SOD (P<0. 01) , compare treatment groups ( B and C ) to model group , but the decrease of MDA is not apparent ( P>0. 05) .After treating , no apparant difference (P>0. 05) of levels of SODand MDA of treatment group (B and C ) compare to normal group . And no difference of SOD and MDA pressent between treatment group (B, C group )and positiveconstrast group D (P>0. 05).Cone I us i on(1) The pathological changes after overiectomy of the female SD rats, accord with the changes of the pathology after the menopause of mankind, can be regarded as and stud i ed the patho I og i ca I mode I s of postmenopause , the d i seases after menopause of female and the problem of aging.(2) Catgut embedding in points in Dan Tian region has the function of regulating the hypothaI amis- pituitary - ovarian axis of the femaleovariectomized rats, to highten the low level of E2, and reduce the high level of FSH of serums of the ones after overiectomy.(3) Catgut embedding in points in Dan Tian region has regulating action of bone remodeling to female ovariectomized rats, and can reduce the level of BGP , which rising after the overiectomy, and thus reduce the ratio of bone conversion effectively which accelerated apparently after the overiectomy, and correct the negative balance of bone remodel ing , and prevent the bone from being lost, thus the Type I, PostmenopausaI Osteoporosis has the positive prevention and cure meanings.(4) Catgut embedding in points in Dan Tian region can influence the free radicals level of the female rats of overiectomy, with improving the level of SOD, and thus reducing MDA content that increases after the overiectomy, thus certain meaning for process of slowing aging.(5) It can verify the effect of coordination that catgut embedding in points in Dan Tian region combined with relative small amount (1/4) of estrogen, can improve the curative effect of simple catgut embedding. And presume the result that reduce the dose of estrogen and combine the treatment of catgut embedding in points in Dan Tian region , can not only reach the effects of fulI amount estrogen but also can thus reduce the side effect of estrogen possiblly.
