Establishment Of The Rat Model Of COPD Syndrome Of Cold-rheum Lying Latent In The Lung

By adopting both traditional theoretical and modern experimental methods, this paper made a comprehensive and deep exploration and scientific experimental study on the "chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) syndrome of cold-rheum lying latent in the lung" , with an aim to elaborate relationship about the syndrome of cold-rheum lying latent in the lung in pulmonary disease. Theoretically, it analyzed the function of lung yang in lung governing water metabolism, and because of lung yang deficiency leading to lung not controlling dispersing outwards and inwards, the lung governing water metabolism dysfunction, so water lying latent in the lung. COPD as one of the pulmonary disease, belongs to cough, asthma, pulmonary emphysema in TCM, so the key to successful treatment of COPD syndrome of cold-rheum lying latent in the lung is warming lung yang, strengthening lung qi, eliminating cold-rheum.In order to deepen the understanding of "cold-rheum lying latent in the lung" and identify its micro-mechanism, the author has used the disease and syndrome making model, adopting traditional etiology and modern medicine pathology, successfully developed the rat model of COPD syndrome of cold-rheum lying latent in the lung based on the theoretical study. The method of making this model used series of factors similar to the relation and pathogenesis of forming COPD syndrome of cold-rheum lying latent in thelung. Further, by means of animal pulmonary function analyzing system, radio immunity determination, the author made an experimental observation on the model animal with multiple index and in different ways. The symptom of rat model is similar to the clinical symptom, and the examination of lung tissue pathogen, lung function, cAMP, cGMP, MMP-9, TIMP-1, et al, according with the disease and syndrome. Which further confirmed the above understanding and provided experimental basis for objective syndrome differentiation in TCM.
