ObjectiveThrough Observation on the effects of cold phlegm-fluid lying latent in the lung in asthma disease in patients with asthma symptoms and signs, lung function and EOS by Shao’s method, to evaluate the clinical efficacy and clarify the therapeutic mechanism so that the treatment on asthma disease is more standardized, systematic, scientific by using Shao’s method. MethodsAdapting the method of random comparison, randomly divided 60 chosen patients suffering cold phlegm-fluid lying latent in the lung in asthma in accordance to the selection criteria into 2 groups: the treatment group(30 patients) and the control group(30 patients). The patients in the treatment group are treated by Shao’s method of Wu Zhen, and the patients in control group are treated by routine acupuncture method, with one treatment per day for patients in both groups and treatment continued for 12 days. The Patients will be followed up at day 15 and 30 after the whole treatment processs. To observe the symptoms, signs, pulmonary function and EOS of the two groups of patients before and after treatment, and to evaluate the clinical efficacy of Shao’s method of Wu Zhen. Results1 In this study, a total 56 cases of actual completion of cases, the treatment group 28 cases, clinical control 15 cases,12 cases markedly effective one case, effective in 1 cases, invalid 0 cases, the total efficiency of 100%; the control group 28 cases, clinical control 10 cases,9 cases markedly effective one case, effective in 19 cases, invalid 0 cases, the total efficiency of 100%. There were significant differences(P> 0.05) between two groups. The treatment group was significantly better than the control group.2 Compare with the symptom score between the two groups, there were significant differences(P <0.05) between the two groups, so the treatment group was significantly better than the control group.3 Two groups of patients lung function FEV1(%),PEF(%) after treatment than before treatment was significant difference(P <0.05),and the two groups were significantly different(P <0.05),and the treatment group was significantly better than the control group.4 Compare with the symptom score between the two groups before and after treatment, there were significant differences(P <0.05) between the two groups;so the treatment group was significantly better than the control group.the symptoms, such as wheezing, asthma wong, and the chest distress, there were significant differences(P <0.05) between the two groups, and the treatment group was significantly better than the control group.5 In the treatmeng, compare with the symptom score between the twice follow-up and the last treatment, there was no significant difference(P >0.05) between the two groups;in the control group, compare with the symptom score between the second follow-up and the last treatment, there were significant differences(P >0.05) between the two groups;compare with the two groups between the treatment group and the control group, there were significant differences(P >0.05) between the two groups;and the treatment group was significantly better than the control group. Conclusion1 Shao’s Method of Wu Zhen has the characteristics of good curative effect, quick effect, acupoints fine on the treatment of cold phlegm-fluid lying latent in the lung in asthma disease, and it should be used widely in the clinical treatment.2 Using the Shao’s method,it can significant decrease the number of EOS, increase the number of FEV1(%) and PEF(%), improve pulmonary function and chronic inflammation for the patients, this is one way to treat asthma disease by the Shao’s method.3 Shao’s method can significantly improve the symptoms in patients with cold phlegm-fluid lying latent in the lung in asthma disease, such as the wheezing, cough, expectoration, painful and full abdominal mass of chest and diaphragm, shortness of breath. The curative effect between the two groups, treatment group was significantly better than the control group. This experiment shows that it can improve the the symptoms and has the significantly antiasthmatic effect in patients with cold phlegm-fluid lying latent in the lung in asthma disease using the Shao’s Method of Wu Zhen.
