ObjectiveThrough Observation on the effects of cold phlegm-fluid lying latent in the lung in asthma disease in patients with asthma symptoms and signs, lung function, EOS and serum TNF-α、IL-8by Shao’s method, to evaluate the clinical efficacy and clarify the therapeutic mechanism so that the treatment on asthma disease is more standardized, systematic, scientific by using Shao’s method.MethodsAdapting the method of random comparison, randomly divided60chosen patients suffering cold phlegm-fluid lying latent in the lung in asthma in accordance to the selection criteria into2groups:experiment group (30patients) and comparison group (30patients). The patients in experiment group are treated by Shao’s method of Wu Zhen, and the patients in comparison group are treated by Routine acupuncture method, with one treatment per day for patients in both groups and treatment lasting for12days. The Patients will be followed up at day15and30after the whole treatment processs. This project(thesis) is based on the signs and symptoms, lung function and eosinophil count of the patients in both groups as criteria to evaluate clinical curative effect of the treatment of cold drink of the Lung Fu type asthma disease; on the change of TNF-α, IL-8content in serum as criteria to discuss clinical therapeutic mechanisms of cold drink of the Lung Fu type asthma disease by using Shao’s method of Wu Zhen.Results1Controlled clinical trial group16cases,11cases markedly effective one case, invalid0cases, the total efficiency of100%; clinical control group12cases, effective in14cases,2cases, invalid0cases, the total efficiency of100%. There was no significant difference (P>0.05) between two groups.2Before and after treatment compared to their symptom score, there were significant differences (P<0.01), the test group of patients have less gasping, coughing and wheezing, three days and seven days after the treatment.3Two groups of patients lung function FEV1(%),PEF (%) after treatment than before treatment was significant difference (P<0.05), and the two groups were significantly different (P<0.05).4Compared to those before the treatment, Eosinophil countshows significant difference for both groups (P<0.05) with significant improvement after the treatment. By comparing the two groups, the result is not statistically significant (P>0.05)5Compared to those before the treatment, the content of TNF-α in serum decreases significantly, and shows significant difference(P<0.05).By comparing the two groups, the result is not statistically significant (P>0.05)6Compared to those before the treatment, the content of IL-8in serum decreases significantly, and shows significant difference(P<0.05).By comparing the two groups, the result is not statistically significant (P>0.05)Conclusion1Shao’s Method of Wu Zhen has the characteristics of good curative effect, quick effect, acupoints fine on the treatment of cold phlegm-fluid lying latent in the lung in asthma disease, and improves gasping, coughing and wheezing well.2The significant decrease on the number of EOS and increase on the number of FEV1(%) and PEF(%) shows that Shao’s method can improve pulmonary function for the patients with cold phlegm-fluid lying latent in the lung in asthma disease and reduce the allergic inflammation.3The significant decrease on TNF-α, IL-8content in serum of patients with cold phlegm-fluid lying latent in the lung in asthma disease shows that Shao’s method can significantly improve airway inflammation in patients with.
