The Wei Jin demeanor enjoys unique status in Chinese’s spiritual culture field, exerts a significant influence, bridges the past with nowadays and attracts much attention from scholars. There are numerous researches about the Wei Jin demeanor as well as abundant treatise to enlighten the benighted. However, systemic researches about Wei Jin demeanor’s significance to people in that times and future’s individual and group’s life growth or illustration about generative meaning of life value haven’t been established yet. This research aims to explore the significance and value of Wei Jin demeanor’s aesthetic life from perspective of definition, time bar, historical and cultural origin, basic element and development.This research penetrates to the topic of Wei Jin demeanor from perspective of history development, cultural continuity, national characters and formation of social and humanistic quality, explores Chinese’s ideology of aesthetic life, the foundation and spiritual core of excellent traditional Chinese culture and its significance and value in human being’s civilization process, help Chinese today positively prove our long-standing and well established instinct disposition and cultural gene as well as research and critic the future development orientation of aesthetic life and Chinese and western civilization.Many research methods and approaches are applied to this research which can finally ensure the theoretical and scientific achievements. Theories and methods like philosophy, comparative culturology, social psychology and etc play unique roles in this research. As the basic theories, Chinese historical viewpoint of dialectical materialism, life aesthetics theory run through the whole course of research.The research achievements of this dissertation can be divide into eight chapters to expound:As the awakening of people and life, the Wei Jin demeanor embodied in the language, appearance, daily life behavior and artistic creation of people in Wei Jin Dynasty(220-420). It profoundly demonstrates life itself and survival attitude, manner and aesthetic value orientation. Essentially, the Wei Jin demeanor embodies ancient Chinese’s approvement of life value, human dignity, practice and exploration of free, glorious and arduous live. The Wei Jin demeanor lasts about four hundred years from the end of Han Dynasty to the downfall of Chen Dynasty(557-589).The Wei Jin demeanor consists of four themes such as life, times, humanity and religion. The Confucianism, Buddhism and Taoism are Wei Jin demeanor as well as the historical and cultural origin of Chinese’s ideology of aesthetic life. This demeanor comes from the long-standed and well established Confucianism ideas of vigorous enthusiasm, awareness of unexpected development, generosity, desolation and heroism, from Taoism’s sensibility, detachment and nature as deconstruction and resistance, from Buddhism’s empty idea and being-toward-death. The blending and merging of Confucianism, Buddhism and Taoism and the development of Wei Jin demeanor indicate the preliminary construction of traditional Chinese’s ideology of aesthetic lifeThe Wei Jin demeanor consists of the body, filial piety and sentiment which are three basic elements in Chinese’s ideology of aesthetic life. These three elements respectively correspond to people’s confirmation and pursue for relationship among themselves, other people and the world in Wei-Jin-South-North period. The Wei Jin demeanor exactly formed and developed in the course of people’s repeated efforts and practices about that three elements. No matter Confucianism, Buddhism, Taoism or body, filial piety and sentiment, they all emphasize Chinese’s desire and admiration for knowledge, truth and sentiment. The truthfulness is the core of Chinese’s self-discipline and the awareness of aesthetic life.Tang-Song atmosphere represents mature period of traditional Chinese’s ideology of aesthetic life and the philosophy of mind and enjoyment of a peaceful, quiet and easy life in Ming Dynasty(1368-1644) and Qing Dynasty (1644-1911) involves develop period.In the conclusion, it is especially put forward that the value vigorously pursued and highlighted in the idea of Wen Jin demeanor is oneself after consciousness of people and life as well as the poetic, artistic and aesthetic life. It is the orientation that requires further efforts will be made in the future’s construction of Chinese and westerner’s ideology of aesthetic life.People uphold the essence of traditional culture in a down-to-earth way and possess modern view and spirit Chinese’s life pursue or modern standard of aesthetic life ideology. Namely, " people hold vigorous and positive attitude toward life, keep outstanding and ambitious aspiration and vision and have sympathy, benevolent and generous sentiment. "Represented by Wei Jin demeanor, Tang-Song atmosphere, Ming-Qing philosophy of the mind and enjoyment of a peaceful, quiet and easy life, Chinese culture implies an enlightened and open, benevolent and lenient culture and has significant enlightening meaning to the development and future of the world.
