Research On Self - Organization Evolution Of Cultural And Creative Industry Park - Theoretical Model And Shanghai Empirical

As an important platform for the development of the creative industry, the creative industry park is an essential part in the development of creative industry. The construction of the park provides a direct way for creative ideas to integrate into social life. This paper is based on the investigation of the creative industry park in Shanghai, to research the basic rules for evolutionary development of the creative industry park in the sight of self-organization theory system. And then makes an empirical study of creative industry park in Shanghai.The first part is the preparation of the basic theories for the paper. We review the basic definitions and industry category of the cultural and creative industry, the classic theories of the development of industrial park now used, as well as the main theory on the development of the creative industry park. Then we introduce the structure of Self-organization theory system, including its origin and development. Next we summariz the theory of Dissipative Structure, the theory of Synergetics, the theory of Hypercycle and the theory of Catastrophe in the system of Self-organization theory, and further review the application of these theories in the field of economics. Finally, we establish the theoretical framework to study the creative industry parks with the Self-organization theory, and put forward the concept of the system of creative industry park. The hole creative industry park can be divided into enterprise subsystem, park subsystem and region subsystem. We plan to research and analysis the process of self-organization evolution of the system of creative industry park from three aspects, which includes form mechanism, dynamics mechanism and the way of evolution.The second part is the theoretical analysis. Firstly we use theory of Dissipative Structure to research the formation of the self-organizing system of the system of creative industry park, mainly from four aspects including the opening, far from equilibrium state, nonlinear system as well as the role of random fluctuation mechanism. And then we introduce the entropy flow analysis, and analyze the main positive entropy source and the sole negative entropy source of the system of creative industry park. Make it clear that the system of creative industry park must keep exchanging substance, ability and information with the external environment to maintain the formation of dissipative structure, which means the system must absorb negative entropy from external continuously, to maintain its evolution orderly. Further through the Brusselator model, we find the the judgment about how the system of creative industry park maintaining its dissipative structure. Refering to the theory on the life cycle of product, we combine the life cycle of industry park with the entropy flow of the system of creative industry park, and give the entropy flow characteristics of the system of creative industrial park in its different stage of life cycle.Then through the theory of Synergy, we study the internal dynamics mechanism in the evolution of the system of creative industry park. From the aspects of subsystem, we analyze the role it plays in system of creative industry park and the competition and cooperation relationship between every subsystem, and affirm the position of every subsystem in the cooperation mechanism of the system. According to the diffrent responsibility of every subsystem in the cooperation mechanism, we can divide dynamic mechanism of the system of creative industry park into three parts which are integration dynamics sub-mechanism, agglomeration dynamics sub-mechanism and feedback dynamics sub-mechanism. Next we analyse the principle of every dynamics sub-mechanism, the main driving factors and the relationship between the driving factors. According to the connotation and characteristic of order parameter in the theory of Synergy, we summarize the order parameter generated in the process of coordinated development of every subsystem, which is cooperating creative capital. Then we analyse the generation of the cooperating creative capital and the way it works.Next we introduce the theory of Hypercycle and the reaction cycle, the catalytic cycle and hyper cycle in it. Through these three cycle we connect every subsystem and every dynamics sub-mechanism in the system of creative industry park into a series. Make it possible to present the agglomeration reaction cycle of creative enterprises, the improvement reaction cycle of creative development level and the supporting reaction cycle of creative services in the subsystem level; the agglomeration and feedback reaction in the inner system level; and the hyper cycle reaction in the system of creative industry park. Based on these reactions we confirm the way that the internal dynamics mechanism works in the self-organization evolution of the system of creative industry park.Based on the theory of Catastrophe, we analyze the external manifestation in the self-organization evolution of system of creative industry park. Make it clear about the meaning of the gradient and mutation in Self-organization theory and their correlation. Then we analyse the gradient in the subsystems and the mutation in the hole system in the aspect of the system of creative industry park, and confirm that the general mutation is the main kind of mutation in the system of creative industry park.The third part is the practice part. First we divide the construction of the system of creative industry park into three periods, which are creative environment construction, creative resource agglomeration and regional integration. On the basis of the division of construction period, we summarize the developing mode of the system of creative industry park, which are agglomeration developing mode, integration developing mode and management developing mode. Then we use the theory of Self-organization to analyse the evolution of the system of creative industry park of different mode in the aspects of entropy flow, dominant subsystem, dynamics mechanism and mutation performance. After that we analyse the typical case of park of different developing modes. Finding that for agglomeration developing mode, the development of the park depends on the agglomeration of creative enterperises, they should fully explore the creative resource agglomerated in the Park; for integration developing mode, they are suitable to be the regional economic developing platform, through establishing a consummate creative service support system; for management developing mode, they must have a sensitive smell of market, a profound cultural connotation and a opening creative thinking, build up a perfect creative service support system, and expand the scale of the park, and ultimately form a creative industry park cluster.According to the investigation of municipal creative industry parks in Shanghai, we have a good command of the development of the parks on location, distribution, property rights, the kind of park operators, dominate industries and so on. Begin with the current situation of municipal creative industry parks in Shanghai, first we discourse the four basic conditions for the parks to grow up to dissipation structure, thus we confirm that these parks would perform as the self-organization theory does. Later, we use the theory on life cycle and the developing mode of park to make a classification research on the municipal creative industry parks in this investigation from the aspect of developing level and develop mode. As a result we find that after years of rapid development, the parks of agglomeration developing mode trend to get into the later period of life cycle, and faced the risk of upgrading and transformation; the parks of integration developing mode are in the earlier stage of life cycle, and they still have a huge space for development; the parks of management developing mode is in the middle of life cycle which is in its best condition, and they are operating in good condition and continue to expand on the scale. On the basis of the classification study, we summarize the overall condition of the development of the municipal creative industrial parks in Shanghai, that it is in the middle of life cycle, with a broad space to develop, and at the same time with the risk of recession. The administration of creative industry park need to improve the integration of parks, strengthen the construction of software investment and service agencies for creative industry. Further analysis of the municipal creative industry parks in Shanghai on regions and district shows that the parks of mature period trends to gradual decrease from the inside to the outside of the city; and the parks of construction period appear to gradually increase from the inside to the outside of the city. The parks of agglomeration developing mode have a balanced distribution; the parks of management developing mode are mainly distributed in the center part of the city; the parks of integration developing mode are distributed outside the central region. Parks in Changning District, Huangpu District and Xuhui District are in the leading place on overall development. Parks in Yangpu District, Jingan District and Putuo District have the potential to further development. Parks in Jiading District and Pudong New Area have a broad space for development. Parks in Baoshan District, Hongkou District are lagged behind the parks in other districts.
