In the 21st century, knowledge, science and technology are the worldwide dominant factors of the economic development, the people who master the new high-tech are the key power to promote the progress of both the economy and society. Developed and some developing countries focus on building national human capital. Meanwhile, their loose technological immigrant policy also aimed at collection of excellent talents from other countries. All of these practices are designed to lay a solid foundation for the sustainable development of current and the future. It also suggested the particular importance of the human capital investment and its risk management.This article based on the characteristics and types of the human capital, sum up the human capital theories which include the classification, the performance and the origin. The main variety of human capital investment, this article analyzes from the state/society, enterprise/organizations and home/personal, divided it into education investment, health care investment and firm-specific investment. This article classifies the performance of human capital investment risk as economic risk, social risk, circumstance risk and psychological risk. This article suggested that the origin of the risk can grouped into external and internal risk factors. Based on the theoretical analysis, this article take a commercial bank as an example to examine the impact of human capital investment risk analysis of the factors by conducted a survey, depth interviews and participant observation. At the end, the human capital investment risk management strategies are summed up.
