Innovation is the inexhaustible force of national prosperity; while industrialtechnological innovation is the decisive factor of national industrial development andeconomic growth. China’s industrial technological level is not high and industrialtechnological innovation capability is not strong, which makes China attaches greatimportance to the improvement of industrial technological innovation capability.Enterprises are the core force of technological innovation, the enterprises’ innovationcapability is the key factor to improve industrial technological innovation, andintroduction-mode technological leapfrogging is an effective way for the enterprisesto improve innovation capability. The research of improvement of industrialtechnological innovation based on introduction-mode technological leapfrogginghelps to perfect the research system of improvement path of industrial technologicalinnovation capability in theory and helps to explore a practical path from enterprises’realizing introduction-mode technological leapfrogging to industry’s improvingtechnological innovation capability in practice.With the research methods of literature surveys, questionnaires, expert surveys,structural equation modeling and empirical analysis, the dissertation summarizes andanalyzes the present research conditions of technological leapfrogging theory,technology spillover theory and industrial technological innovation capability theory;studies the definition, the criteria, the three-stage structure, and the realizing conditionof enterprises’ introduction-mode technological leapfrogging; proposes the processionpath of enterprises’ introduction-mode technological leapfrogging and constructsevaluation index system to evaluate introduction-mode technological leapfroggingcapacity of the large and medium-sized enterprises of high-tech industries from31provinces (municipalities and autonomous regions) in China; based on transnationalcompanies’ FDI effect—demonstration effect, competition effect and talents floweffect, points out that during and after the enterprises realize introduction-modetechnological leapfrogging, dominant technology spillover and implicit technologyspillover arise among the enterprises in the same industry; proposes the mechanismand path hypotheses of improving industrial technological innovation capability basedon enterprises’ introduction-mode technological leapfrogging; takes the leading industries in Tianjin as empirical research objects, collects data from the enterprises ofthe leading industries in Tianjin, establishes structural equation model, appliesSPSS19.0and AMOS17.0to analyze obtained data to check the proposed hypotheses;finally puts forward countermeasures suggestions.Through the above analysis, we come to the conclusion that in the implementprocess of enterprises’ introduction-mode technological leapfrogging, with the help ofthe driving force of introduced technology, the enterprises can come acrossleapfrogging resistance and follow the precessional path; during and after enterprisesrealize introduction-mode technological leapfrogging, the imitation and the learning,the technological race and the talents flow prove that the technology spillovers existamong the enterprises; the technology spillovers among the enterprises helps topromote the industrial upgrading, increase the input and output of industrialinnovation, and improve the industrial innovation environment and system, whichbrings the technological progress and improves innovation capability of the wholeindustry. Based on empirical analysis we conclude that the path from enterprises’realizing introduction-mode technological leapfrogging to industry’s improvingtechnological innovation capability exits. The path is that during and after enterprisesrealize introduction-mode technological leapfrogging, distinctive implicit technologyspillover arises among enterprises, the implicit technology spillover promotes theinput ability and output ability of industrial technological innovation, which results inthe whole improvement of industrial technological innovation capability eventually.
