Research On The Technological Leapfrogging Mode Selection Of China Automobile Industry

This paper starts with analyzing the definition and existing technological leapfrogging theory, and points out the technological leapfrogging is the necessary and feasible choice for China automobile industry to face the more and more intensive globalization competition, the selections of the field and the mode of technological leapfrogging become the primary problems.As implementation action, the technological leapfrogging mode resolves the problem of how to effectively carry through the technological leapfrogging. Because the theoretical research of the technological leapfrogging mode is particularly important, based on the theories of economics and technological innovation, this paper brings forward three technological leapfrogging modes, such as independence, introduction, and collaboration. Then this paper brings forwards that the enterprise can implement the mode basis on the different condition, these are undoubtedly innovative points on the theoretical research.Based on theses theory, the paper chooses three automobile companies as they are representative for independence, introduction, and collaboration mode. With analyzes their development, innovation strategy and their innovation system. Then compared the three companies with key indexes for the conclusion. At last this paper brings forward how to implement of the technological leapfrogging mode, in this mode, more detailed discussions are to be given, which would offer certain reference value for the leapfrogging of China automobile industry.
