From the perspective of economic geography, "the world is uneven". Space is not balanced by the differences caused by the space value chain. A lot of economic activities in the urban agglomeration must form regional division and specialization. Spatial agglomeration of economic activities strenthen themselves in the integration and restructuring process of the value chain. In all the countries over the world, the high-tech industries and modern services are highly concentrated in a few large cities in the metropolitan area, the city has become the core of the drivers of regional economic growth. The boundary of region is shifting from the industrial level and product level to the city level; the content of the regional division has become the division of the value chain. For a long time, there are no appropriate tools in dealing with increase return of scale and incomplete competition. Numerous studies took the spatial agglomeration economies as a "black box", the property of the space value and the profit-pursuing character are essential of the urban spatial evolution. Urban spatial evolution is not only just the expansion of the city size and urban area, but the most essential include the conversion of the urban space functions and the values change. Therefore, the nature of problems about city is the space. In the urban expansion, which are constrained by the rigid conditions of land, resources and crowding, we need to breakthrough the traditional framework, and from the deeper level of value chain, to pursue the path of the growth and sustainable developement of the city. The functions of different rank of cities have been restructured by the new theory of the labor division of the world. In the era of globalization, to evaluate status and competitiveness of a city, is not only to concern about the population size, but the extent of the division of labor, and the ability of occupying, dealing, and arranging the property, the capital and the information in the global scale,.Urban spatial evolution is a kind of effecitve model of achieving the sustainable development and enhancing of the international competitiveness based on the value chain.Urban Agglomeration, which is setting up with urban value chain as the central linkage, is the organization of spacial economic. Dynamic evolution is a core feature of the city (group) spatial structure which should be taken as the essential characteristics in the analyzing of the common city (group) development. The gathering of the manufacture to the samll cities is accompany with the dispersion the service to the central city, in turn, the service accumulating in the cnetral city expands the manufactrure to the surronding samll cities. The gathering and dispersion which put the regional econogy in a dynamic equilibrium, is the internal power fo the urban spatial evolution. Urban space not only forms the physical basis of the city, but also an important factor of production to promote the city’s economic growth, therefore, the study the evolution of urban space should take the material aspects and the economic and social dimensions into the same analytical framework. The value chain of cities is a value-added system for the space level. From an economic level, the value chain is the chain of the interests and advantages. We need to breakthrough the Porter’view about the value chain, and forcus on the optimization and integration to understand the nature of the value chain. It has been abviousely necessary to include the space into the analysis of the current globalization and urbanization. Future urban architecture in a different part of the value of the network as the basic framework to facilitate between the inner city and urban population, resources, environment, social, economic and harmonious development as the goal, the ability to form a consolidation, restructuring capabilities, distribution capabilities of organic space value system.the location has the property of mobility same as the labor, capital and other factors of production, according to the value chain, there are different locations for the matching. For one value chain, its value, function and purpose changes along with the evolution of the value chain. The hypothesis of movement of the location provides the possibility for reconstruction and integration of the locations on the basis of the value chain. Under the market mechanisms, the entities of the Micro-economic are based on the creativity and competition of the value-added industrial clusters. It is necessary to realize the movement and growth of the location based on the value chain. The problem of the space struction evolution comes from the aggregation of the business and industry which introduced, changing and rebuilding the space value. Therefore, the urban space evolution is process of internalization of the external economic. The urban space value has become the basis element and start point of the evolution of the urban space, and the division of the value chain has changed the model of urban space evolution. My paper focus on the urban value chain, on the basis of the space value, urban value, urban agglomerations and other related concepts, separate the urban value chain into the value chain within the city and between cities. We take the space as rare element, and follow the law of the value chain, analyze the mechanism of evolution of urban space under the view of the value chain and search the three-dimensional framework for the dynamic of urban evolution from the micro-level business, to the middle level of industry and macro-level of regional. And, we want to give a new explanation of the urban space economy, and built up the models of the city internal value chain and the within cities value chain. We conclude that the evolution of the urban space is driven by the internal and within urban value chain which enrich and advance the theory of the urban value chain. In the process of the evolution of urban space must be accompanied by some economic effects, these effects mainly reflected the effect of economic growth, spatial spillovers, upgrading effect of industrial scale threshold effect, a multiplier effect and improve the ecological environment.and other economic effects.Through in-depth research on the mechanism of various economic effects occur, the establishment of the corresponding theoretical model. Based on the foregoing theoretical discussion in this paper, the law of the value chain and six economic effect of urban spatial evolution of the generation mechanism of empirical research to prove that the internal mechanism of the six economic effect and value chain layout of urban spatial evolution. Various economic effect in the economy often intertwined, and together to influence and promote the evolution of urban space, creating a relationship between urban space evolution and interaction of various economic effect impacts. In the economic effects of the six empirical analysis, depending on the problem area to select a different sample, and focus of the Yangtze River Delta, in the perspective of the evolution of the space as an important factor included in the analysis framework, with Matlab R2013b and ArcGIS10.0 software draw general conclusions realistic. Finally, through the study of urban development policies proposed value chain oriented urban development proposals. Finally, we provided some suggestions for value chain oriented urban development at the policy level. We propose the shift of regional economic from "administrative economy" to "urban agglomeration economies" changes, advocate of urban space by the local transformation of the flow space, power urban spatial evolution driven by the industry as a whole value chain to drive the conversion system, the establishment of the city of the value chain, attention the role of the core of the city, enhanced radiation energy core of the city, promoting urban cluster development, the city needs to position itself attribution space, prompting the city continue to optimize the value chain to achieve sustainable urban development.
