Traditional supply chain management assumes that participants are rational and egocentric, which means that participants only consider economic benefits and ignore relationships among participants. However, in real life, it is possible that there exist fairness concerns in enterprises. And fairness concerns lead to the change of relationships among supply chain members, the great adjustment of mutual gambling behavior and therefore the big differences of supply chain strategies. So, the fairness concerns that impact on corporate decision-making behavior and supply chain contract attracted widespread attention. Therefore, on the basis of literatures of supply chain management, this dissertation introduces theory of fairness concerns into the field of supply chain operations management, and studies the strategic and incentive issues of supply chain with a dominant distributor based on the fairness concerns. The dissertation introduces the research background, analyzes the research significance of supply chain management based on the fairness concerns, and proposes research objectives and contents of this article.Secondly, this dissertation summarizes and reviews briefly home and abroad literatures about supply chain decision-making from four aspects of the basic theory of fairness concerns, applications of fairness concerns, supply chain contracts and supply chain management strategy, and supply chain strategy based on asymmetric information.Third, this dissertation studies the strategic and incentive issues of supply chain with a dominant distributor based on the relative fairness concerns. According to the theory of relative fairness concerns, this dissertation constructs respective utility functions of the retailer, the distributor and the producer in the supply chain consisting of a retailer and a distributor, and in the supply chain a producer and a distributor. In three modes of no incentive contract, revenue sharing contract and buyback contract, this dissertation studies the impact of the relative fairness concerns on retailer’s optimal order strategy and distributor’s optimal pricing strategy, makes comparison between retailer’s performance and distributor’s performance in three modes, provides ranges to select the revenue sharing contract and the buyback contract. Then in two modes of no incentive contract and cost-sharing contract, this dissertation studies the impact of the relative fairness concerns on producer’s optimal production strategy and distributor’s optimal pricing strategy, makes comparison between producer’s performance and distributor’s performance in two modes.Forth, this dissertation studies the strategic and incentive issues of supply chain with a dominant distributor based on the absolute fairness concerns. According to the theory of absolute fairness concerns, this dissertation constructs respective utility functions of the retailer, the distributor and the producer in the supply chain. In three modes of no incentive contract, revenue sharing contract and buyback contract, this dissertation analyzes the impact of the absolute fairness concerns and the absolute fair profit distribution ratio on retailer’s optimal order strategy and distributor’s optimal pricing strategy, studies the role of the revenue sharing contract and the buyback contract alleviating the adverse effects of the supply chain due to absolute fairness concerns of concern, and improving supply chain performance. Then in two modes of no incentive contract and cost-sharing contract, this dissertation studies the impact of the absolute fairness concerns on producer’s optimal production strategy and distributor’s optimal pricing strategy, studies the role of the cost-sharing contract alleviating the adverse effects of the supply chain due to absolute fairness concerns of concern, and improving supply chain performance.Fifth, this dissertation studies the strategic and incentive issues of supply chain with a dominant distributor based on asymmetric information of fairness concerns. In the case that the distributor does not know the information of fairness concerns of the retailer and the producer, and the retailer and the producer know the information of fairness concerns of the distributor. This dissertation analyzes the impact of asymmetric information of fairness concerns on retailer’s optimal order strategy, producer’s optimal production strategy and distributor’s optimal pricing strategy, studies the role of the cost-sharing contract, the revenue sharing contract and the buyback contract alleviating the adverse effects of the supply chain due to asymmetric information, and improving supply chain performance. Finally, the dissertation concludes the research and proposes future research topics. The innovation of the paper point is mainly manifested in the following four aspects:(1) The producer as new object based on relative fairness concerns of the producer and the distributor. This dissertation studies the impact of the relative fairness concerns on producer’s optimal production strategy, distributor’s optimal pricing strategy and performance based on the relative fairness concerns, and studies incentive issues of cost-sharing contract improving performance of the producer and the distributor.(2) A new content based on absolute fairness concerns of the retailer and the distributor. Most of the studies are based on the profit of supply chain members as a reference point of fairness concerns. Few studies are based on the total profit of supply chain as a reference point of fairness concerns. This dissertation introduces the theory of absolute fairness concerns, in the case of uncertain demand, constructs respective utility functions of the retailer and the distributor, studies the impact of the absolute fairness concerns and the absolute fair profit distribution ratio on retailer’s optimal order strategy and distributor’s optimal pricing strategy, provides a theoretical reference for supply chain behavior strategy and management strategy based on absolute fairness concerns.(3) A new content based on absolute fairness concerns of the producer and the distributor. According to the theory of absolute fairness concerns, this dissertation constructs respective utility functions of the distributor and the producer, studies the impact of the absolute fairness concerns and the absolute fair profit distribution ratio on producer’s optimal production strategy, distributor’s optimal pricing strategy and performance of the producer and the distributor.(4) Research on effect of asymmetric information of fairness concerns. Most of the literatures discussed the information asymmetry of cost and demand. This dissertation studies the impact of asymmetric information of fairness concerns on retailer’s optimal order strategy, producer’s optimal production strategy and distributor’s optimal pricing strategy, designs contracts to alleviate the adverse effects of the supply chain due to asymmetric information of fairness concerns, provides a theoretical reference for supply chain behavior strategy and management strategy based on the information asymmetry of fairness concerns.
