The process of economic growth is accompanied with the evolution of the industrial structure. Under different growth mechanisms, there are significant differences in the promotion of industrial structure evolution factors. It is necessary to study the engine and features of the process of evolution of China’s industrial structure in order to explore the reasons for China’s economic growth. This artical theoretically analyzes the mechanism of the evolution of the industrial structure and explains the factors that influence the process of China’s industrial structure evolution. Based on the above analysis, the author studied the evolution feature of China’s industrial structure from different views. In the end, the author provided viable policy recommendations for upgrading and rationalization of China’s industrial structure.This paper analyzed the evolution of the industrial structure and its influencing factors and clarified the mechanism of evolution of industrial structure and its analytical framework. Furtherly, the author analyed the historical trajectory and the engine of China’s industrial structure evolution and empirically analyzed the evolution of the industrial structure from industry input-output, industry efficiency, regional differences, industrial agglomeration four dimensions respectively. Acotr-Oriental Statistical Network Model is adopted to explain the evolution of the network structure of Chinese industry. To estimate the technical efficiency of various departments of industrial sectors, the author adapted the stochastic frontier and DEA method to estimate factor output elasticity and the technical efficiency of various departments of industrial sectors and examined the impact of the rate of technical substitution to pure technical efficiency.In the dimension of analysis of regional difference, the author adopted the method of shift-share to decompose the deviate from the national average of31Chinese provinces and tested the influence of R&D input to regional difference. When discussed the characteristics of industrial agglomeration, the author adopted entropy measurement method from entropy index of specialization and geographic concentration and analyzed the influence mechanism of factor specialization and geographic to output specialization and geographic. Finally, the author provided policy recommendations for China’s industrial structure optimization from the perspective of industrial development and regional development..The main work of this paper are:(1) analyzed the impact mechanism of factor output elasticity and income demand elasticity on the evolution of the industrial structure from the point of view of production and market demand perspectives.(2) To analyze the input-output relationship between the various departments based on the maximum weight spanning tree graph theory principles and dynamicly analyzed the characteristics of dynamic network of China’s industrial structure evolution using acotr-oriental statistical network model.(3) To study the evolution of the industrial sectors of the industrial structure from technical perspective, the author estimate the production elements of China’s industrial output elasticity of various departments based on stochastic frontier approach and estimate the causes of the evolution of the industrial structure TFP change based on DEA method.(4) To estimate Chinese provinces of industrialfactor output difference, the author adopted shift-share mehod and test the influence mechanism of R&D input to industrial region structure based on spatial panel model.(5) The autor study industrial clustering feature in the process of the evolution of the industrial structure based on entropy measre method. | | Keywords/Search Tags: | Industriall structure, Factors productivity, Technical progress, Industrialagglomeration, Structure Upgrading, Structural rationalization | PDF Full Text Request | Related items |
