Study On The Social Shaping Of China Enterprises’ Technological Innovation

Enterprises’technological innovation is an interactive and complex social process related to technology, economy and society, and the comprehensive categories of both technology and society. This study uses the theory of the social shaping of technology, absorbs the research findings about the relationship between technology and society in technological innovation process, and brings technology and society into the same explanative framework. It analyses the social factors(economical,institutional,administrant, humanistic) through the choice, adjustment and integration of technology, constructs and shapes the technological innovation process, The study tries to embed our enterprises’technological innovation practices into the social system network, integrates the participants of micro-level of technological innovation,organizations of middle level of technological innovation,and macro-level social political and economic systems.This paper discusses enterprises as the subjects of technological innovations, drives of enterprises’technological innovations and environments of enterprises’technological innovations.Enterprises’technological innovations are not only enterprises’behaviors, but the social behaviors. Enterprises’technological innovations drive the society, and meanwhile the society shapes enterprises’technological innovations. Enterprises’technological innovations ought to depend on some social environments, and the social environments have the important influencing and restriction role on enterprises’technological innovations.This study prompts the systematic study on enterprises’technological innovations from the social philosophy of technology, which will enrich and develop the theories of technological innovation and social philosophy of technology.
