The Study About Spatial Problems Of County-Level Towns’Development In China

County-level towns were the most stable units in China’s city system,which connected the urban and rural areas.They had the largest regional correlation between urban and rural areas,which were the foundation of the administrative system."County urbanization" was one pattern which put county-level towns as the main carrier of urbanization accelerating rural surplus labor transfer into urban residents near their home. On this basis,this article would study mainly from the following aspects:The primary problem this paper want to discuss was the importance of county towns for our country s urbanization strategy. In order to get the answer, this paper studied the relationship between urbanization and county-level towns from three angles:paths of urbanization, the correlation between urbanization and county economy. On this analysis, this paper pointed out that the county-level town was an important spatial carrier of urbanization, the best contact of balancing the urban and rural areas,the best path for urban residents.Kowning the important key position of "county urbanization"strategy,in order to study how to develop "county urbanization", this article continued study county-level towns from two dimensions of time and space.From time perspective, this paper analyzed the evolution process, development track and situation of the development of county-level towns by vertical comparison analysis, type comparison and the horizontal comparison analysis,which showed that the stability of the county-level towns were the premise and foundation of "county urbanization" strategy; the backward situation of county-level towns need "county urbanization"to promote its urban scale and development level.From space perspective, this article mainly studied from the spatial distribution of towns, development status and interaction between individuals. Firstly,this paper used spatial analysis tools such as Arcgis to analyze the number of county-level towns,scale, the development level of towns between different areas and provinces in our country, which showed that the spatial distribution of the development level of county towns in our country is not balanced between east and west regions.Under the analysis of the cause of differences existing in our country urbanization development path, this article put forward the "small east big west " urbanization area layout strategy in order to define the range of county urbanization way in different areas. Secondly, this paper chose a typical province.Then it did time and space distribution research and spatial autocorrelation analysis combined with typical case.At last, this article analysed factors that affect the "county urbanization" in our country from comprehensive point. The results showed that county economy, county public service level,the proportion of non-agricultural people were remarkable. Combined with empirical analysis, this paper put forward the concept of "urbanization function" from functional perspective and put some suggestions to promote "county urbanization" combined with typical case.
