Study On The Urbanization Problems And Countermeasures Of Villages And Towns In The Periphery Of Qihe County

Urbanization is the only way for China's modernization,The new urbanization is the major development strategy of our country in the new period;Over the past forty years of reform and opening up,China's urbanization construction has acquired remarkable achievements,However,no matter the country and the local area,the urbanization has always exist the problems of unbalanced development.Qihe County,as the representative of the county economy,the urbanization development of the central and peripheral are also unbalanced,and the level of urbanization in the peripheral towns is obviously backward.This article uses some methods such as document literature?investigation?comparative analysis and so on,to the purpose of analysing the the problems and the reasons of Qihe County peripheral villages and towns in the process of urbanization,taking some contrapuntally suggestions,hoping to explore a set of effective strategies for the urbanization development of peripheral villages and towns.Through investigation and analysis,this study finds that there are some problems in the urbanization of Qihe peripheral towns,such as imperfection of urban functions,deflection of local government,lack of enthusiasm of farmers for urbanization,encroachment on farmers' rights and interests,and lack of sustainability in urbanization.The reasons behind these problems are rather complicated.They are mainly restricted by the level of the basic leadership and the farmers' cognition,meanwhile also are influenced by urban-rural dualism,household registration,land and are constrainted by economic and cultural factors.F ollo wing the premise of Scientific Outlook on Development,the new national urbanization strategy and the Rural Revitalization strategy,this study suggests that in the process of urbanization in the peripheral towns of Qihe County,we must continue to adhere to the government's leading role and lead the scientific planning and reform based on scientific understanding firstly.Secondly,highlighting the dominant position of farmers,arousing the subjective consciousness,fully respecting the dominant position of farmers and creating a willingness to fully protect the interests of farmers,in order to make farmers fully enjoy the fruits of national development.Thirdly,realizing industrial supportion,adapting to local conditions,developing pluralistic,making modern agriculture bigger and stronger.Last,Persisting in sustainable development,realizing the targets of rural urbanization,such as natural environment attraction,social environment preservation,and cultural environment molding.Urbanization in rural areas is the key to the new urbanization,and the urbanization of the villages and towns in the periphery of the county is the difficult point of rural urbanization.This study on theory and practice of the peripheral villages and towns urbanization has important significance to enrich the theories of rural urbanization,provides a useful reference for further research and solutions to the dilemma of the urbanization development in periphery towns,which will accelerate the realization of Rural Revitalization and new urbanization and other national strategic goals.
