Interactive Study On The Sino-Korean Elations And The Development Of The Frontier After The Cold War

The strategic mission to effectively promot Sino-Korean relations and opening up in the region along the border is an urgent tast to solve for China since the end of the Cold War.The article focuses on Sino-Korean trade and the border economic development of the Yalu River valley. Thus, border cities were formed and developed and the trade forms with the characteristics of the Yalu River valley appeared gradully under the effects of Sino-korean trade exchange and outside forces.Chapter three strategic adjustment and relations between China and North Korea.It discusses that the two countries choose the different national strategy and development path because of their diffenent judgements on the situation.North Korea embarked on the route on Military-First with security as the priority,while China chose to reform and open up to the outside world with economic development as the priority. The different choices effected Sino-North Korean relations hugely. The two countries adjusted their relations,but this had been in a groping stage.
