Corn Seed Industry Chain Innovation Mode Based Knowledge Networks Perspective

As the top breed of China’s three major crops in plant area and yield, corn can be used as food directly, animal feed, or industrial raw material etc. With the development of economy, the consumption structure of corn is evolving. The consumption as feed and industrial raw material increases quickly, which requires more research and innovation on corn seed. Faced with the new value demands, the small-scale, decentralized, and low levels of innovation model of China’s corn seed industry put it at a disadvantage in international competition. The immediate requirement is transforming and upgrading China’s corn seed industry to achieve systematic, professional, large-scale innovation, so that the innovation capability, performance, and industrial competitiveness can be improved.In this paper, aiming at transforming and upgrading of corn seed industry innovation modes, research in innovation modes difference of traditional breeding, modern breeding and conventional breeding methods combined with modern knowledge under different ways of division of knowledge is done from the perspective of knowledge networks. Contrast analysis is made based on the scale, density, centricity, heterogeneity and the quality of node relationships, strength, stability. From the perspective of complex adaptability to analyze the evolution and trend of innovation mode, from improving innovation knowledge networks effects and promoting innovation mode to analyze the knowledge networks of corn industry chain, from the perspective of increasing adaptive efficiency to make clear that the corn industry chain knowledge networks has effect on innovation mode evolution, combined with our main strategy of building a knowledge networks of corn seed industry chain and carry on the empirical cases. According to the line of problem recognition, problem analysis and problem solving, this paper is mainly divided into three parts:the recognition of corn industry chain and corn seed industry chain innovation mode, the analysis of corn seed industry chain innovation mode’s classification, compare and evolution, the strategies and cases of corn seed industry chain knowledge networks building.Problem recognition on the relationship between research, literature review and interviews and features on our corn and corn seed industry chain are summarized. Studies show that corn consumption trend has led to structural changes in demand for complicated needs of corn varieties innovation, international and domestic competition leads to corn seeds of an increasingly competitive market. The traditional corn seed industry innovation mode can not adapt to the complex innovation needs and fierce competitive environment. A industry chain innovation system with systematism, professionalism and large-scale.Problem analysis section from the corn seed industry as demand for knowledge-intensive features and network innovation, choose knowledge networks as a research perspective and make distinguish between traditional breeding, modern breeding and traditional breeding combined with modern breeding innovation mode. Based on the relationship between knowledge networks and innovation, compare three modes knowledge networks and analysis the key factors of improving the effects of knowledge networks innovation under the complicated innovation situation, from the perspective of increasing adaptive efficiency to make clear that the corn industry chain knowledge networks has effect on innovation mode evolution.Problem solving part is based on the analysis of corn seed industry in our country and the construction of knowledge networks to promote the innovation development of corn seed industry needs and its key factors. From the aspects of formation of network center node, the main body cooperation of industry chain and network nodes knowledge sharing,to promote cooperation and encouraging the node as the purpose of knowledge sharing based on behavior game analysis propose main strategy based on behavior game analysisand put forward the strategy of promoting industry chain knowledge networks formation, combined with empirical cases.This paper proceeds from the perspective of knowledge networks and the formation of innovation effects to explore ways of transformation and upgrading of approaches and strategies for corn seed industry and even provides guideline and methods for agriculture industry. And the proposed suggestion to promote the innovation development strategy of corn seed industry has certain actual application value.
