Recalling the history of human social development, we can see the economic and social development is always accompanied by a large consumption of land, at the same time of rapid economic growth, shortage of resources and environmental pollution having become increasingly prominent, with the contradiction of man-land relationship growing. In the 21st century, resource and environmental issues are more prominent. The economic and social sustainable development requires that we must take the space endowment characteristics of regional resources and environment into account when we develop and make use of regional land resources, select the appropriate direction of development and utilization and control the development intensity within the moderate range. Therefore, the land carrying capacity becomes one of the core issues to improve man-land relationship and to explore the sustainable development at home and abroad at present. Land carrying capacity in the traditional sense is essentially around farmland and grain population and launched it on the basic of farmland, taking food as mediation and treating final estimates of population capacity as a goal, which has a very important significance on food self-sufficiency,food security,and taping the potential of arable land as well as the coordinated development of industry in the specific historical stage and a specific region. But with the requirements of economic and social development, it is far from enough to concern only with land for food and population carrying enough, which is difficult to objectively describe land comprehensive carrying level.Human development on land is not only to solve the food problem, but should also take into account the promotion of rational use of land resources in synergy with human activities, so the body of the bearing is not just farmland, but also includes other land types of urban land, rural settlements, water transport and other facilities land and so on;The object of carrying is not just population,but should also includes the carry status of economies of scale, ecological environment, resource conditions, social life and so on.In the study of traditional land carrying capacity the regional land carrying capacity is usually treated as an isolated, closed system.With the new industrialization, informatization, urbanization and agricultural modernization synchronous development, reduction of arable land, construction land expansion, water shortages, air pollution and other issues continue to increase, the situation of land comprehensive carrying capacity increasingly seriously, so we must pay close attention to find out the status of the regional carrier, to find out bearing short board to solve. Breaking in the limits of any aspect of the land carrying will become the shackles of sustainable development,and accelerate the deterioration of the contradiction between people and land. Compared with previous studies, the land comprehensive carrying capacity can better reflecting the openness, therefore, in-depth study of land comprehensive carrying capacity is of both great practical significance and far-reaching historical significance for countries to formulate National Economic Development Plan and long-term planning, coordinating the relationship between people and land and to achieve sustainable development. It has become the focus of land comprehensive carrying capacity system research that how to coordinate the relationship between economic growth, social development and environmental protection in the land use, effectively resolve the contradiction between demand and supply of land and explore the path of system sustainable development; and how to properly evaluate the coordination situation of system,provide the basis for the system collaborative management,timely and appropriate intervention system organizations as well as promote benign operation of system.For the system of land comprehensive carrying capacity study, its fundamental purpose is to master the structure, function and evolution of the system,and based on this the system is applied to human intervention, in order to achieve a equilibrium between comprehensive maximum efficiency of land use and sustainable land use. Land comprehensive carrying capacity systems itself exists the self-organizing mechanisms to boot the system evolution,human impact as another means of introducing organization aimed at timely and appropriate to regulate the operation of land comprehensive carrying capacity system through the implementation of technical, administrative and other means. Therefore,we can target to propose safeguards for optimize the allocation of land resources only on the basis of a more thorough understanding of the complex structure and internal evolution mechanism of land comprehensive carrying capacity system.Land comprehensive carrying capacity system is complex and giant, and the traditional method can not fully satisfy and meet the needs of complex system management, so it is an urgent need to introduce new management concepts and methods that adapt to the complexity of the system. Complex system theory provides a new paradigm for the study of the land comprehensive carrying capacity system.It is an effective way to study the issues of regional land sustainable use that combine complexity science and the research on management of land comprehensive carrying capacity system. Based on complex systems perspective, in order to improve the relationship between people and land and sustainable development for the lead, with cooperative learning, control theory and other theories, the study build a collaborative management logic analytical framework of the land comprehensive carrying capacity system using WSR methodology, and systematically analyze the construction and evaluation of the land comprehensive carrying capacity systems from the Wuli, Shili and Renli three dimensions. The specific contents are as follows:1.Build the logical framework of the study of the land comprehensive carrying capacity. Based on sorting out related research of the land comprehensive carrying capacity systems, construct logical analysis framework of the study of land comprehensive carrying capacity systems according to WSR methodology, and explain the connotation and specific content of the Wuli, Shili and Renli three dimensions in system research based on system control and optimizing the allocation of the specific means.2.From the Wuli dimensions of analysis, clear up the concept and content of land comprehensive carrying capacity based on the summary of previous research; reveal synthesis, level, openness, non-linear and dynamic characteristics of land comprehensive carrying capacity systems using complex systems theory; from the physical structure analysis of land comprehensive carrying capacity system, based on four levels of basic elements, elements collection, subsystems and subspace,confirm it is composed of the substance subsystem, biological subsystem and human subsystem, and analyze the element collection and element composition of each subsystem.3.Engaged in the Shili dimensional analysis, analyze the organizational structure of land comprehensive carrying capacity system, and define its complex nature between self-organization and other organization’s. Furthermore, reveal the evolution and development of land use systems through the combination of qualitative and quantitative. On the one hand by aspects of the system evolution orbit and bifurcation type and evolution dynamic mechanism,analyze the evolution of land comprehensive carrying capacity systems on the macro; on the other hand simulate the evolution of land comprehensive carrying capacity systems through the establishment of Synergetics equation, and establish the coupling coordination degree evaluation model of land comprehensive carrying capacity systems. Finally, explore application and methods improvements of Renli for regulation in the system management application from the system of early warning, dynamic tracking and public participation.5.In Zhengzhou city land comprehensive carrying capacity systems has carried on the empirical research. By analyzing the evolution and development of land comprehensive carrying capacity system, based on the system coordinate coupling degree of judgment, determine the future regulation of land use systems management program, policy proposals and safeguards in Zhengzhou.Conclusion:1.It is appropriate and effective that use complex systems theory to study land comprehensive carrying capacity system. Based on WSR methodology logical analysis framework can provide holistic analysis of ideas for the study of land comprehensive carrying capacity systems.2.Land comprehensive carrying capacity system is a complex giant system, and research should focus on the coordination of the elements and subsystems. Element is the master of the coordinated development of land comprehensive carrying capacity system. In order to Wuli-Shili-Renli (WSR) is a methodology, of comprehensive land carrying the complexity of the force system respectively from the physical dimension, logic dimension, people charged with mathematical explanation, analysis and solving, expanded the scope of application of WSR methodology, but also to promote the blend of multi discipline comprehensive research.
