Research On The Development Strategies Of The Modern Service Of China’s Regional Super Large Cities

For the understanding and recognizing of the importance of modern service industry as "a new growth point of regional economy and the main grasper of changing the mode of economic development", and the special advantages and the important status which regional super large cities have for developing modern service industry, being based on the advantages of having long engaged in the study on regional economic and the big background of transforming of economic and social development mode and adjustment, optimization and upgrading of industrial structure, So select " Research on the development strategies of the modern service of China’s Regional super large cities " as my paper for applying for PH.D.Ⅰ.The main contentsThis paper consists of six chapters.The first chapter "Introduction" mainly analyzes the background and significance of selecting the topic, explains the frame structure, the basic content and research methods of the paper. At the same time, the paper briefly analyses the concept and the basic characteristics of modern service industry and regional super large city, and the main problems exited in the strategy researches of regional super large city developing modern service industry.The second chapter is the part of theoretical research. After a brief review and evaluation of relevant services theory, the paper proposes a new, unique personal opinions about the modern service theory, including:research on service properties, research on the power of and the reasons for modern service industry development, research on the role and the promotion of the modern service industry In the process of economic and social development and economic structure change, research on the basic rules and trend of the modern service industry development, etc.The third chapter, through the analysing of the development strategies of modern service industry used by developed countries, such as the United States, Britain, Japan, and international metropolises such as New York, London, Tokyo, summarizes the general development strategies of international metropolises in the developed countries, such as the government-led development strategy, urbanization development strategy, innovation-driving development strategy and differentiation development strategy, and provides reference for the study on development strategy of modern service industry of China’s regional super large cities.The fourth chapter detailed analysis the basic characteristics of China’s regional super large cities, and its advantages and good basic conditions for developing modern service industry. As the same time, reference to the experience of development modern service industry of developed countries and international metropolises, the paper puts forward some development strategies of modern service industry of China’s regional super large cities, such as:the government-leading development strategy, priority development strategy, agglomerated development strategy, innovation-driving development strategy, overall-planning development strategy, reforming-opening development strategy, etc.The fifth chapter takes Hefei City as an example, tries to analyses and researches the relatively underdeveloped city how to choose development strategies of modern service industry in the process of development to regional super large city. In the light of Hefei city’s new goals, new task of fully building modern emerging central city after Shanghai, Nanjing and Hangzhou, in the Yangtze River Delta region, and forwarding in the direction of becoming a regional super large city with great influence in China, after analyzing the development gap of modern service industry between Hefei and Shanghai, Nanjing and Hangzhou, the paper comprehensively analyzes the advantages, weaknesses, opportunities and challenges of Hefei to develop modern service industry. Then, following to the general rules of industrial development, the paper accordingly researches and proposes some unique strategic plans of developing modern service industry for Hefei to Construct regional super large city, such as:two-wheeled drive development strategy, ecological city development strategy, fully-open development strategy, all-round-Hefei marketing strategy, and leaping-development strategy, etc, and the basic ideas, targets and measures for Hefei to develop modern service industry.The sixth chapter is mainly to make a brief summary of the research and the prelimimary prospect and direction for further research.Ⅱ.The main innovation points of the paperThis paper has certain innovation in the aspects of topic selection, research methods and theoretical research. On the topic selection:there are many research and achievements about a certain city developing modern service industry, but, taking the regional super large cities as the object of study is the first. On the research methods, this paper uses such methods as qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis, induction and deduction, system analysis and empirical analysis, reality analysis and forecast analysis, history and logic, theory research and practice of service combination, etc. On the research ideas, this paper selects from theory to practice, from practice to theory, then from theory to guiding practice. On the aspect of theory research, inspired by previous studies, based on absorbing and drawing on previous research results, this paper puts forward a series of new theories and perspectives:a、From the research of the fact that the life-service labor and productive labor is directly to the service of human life, production-service labor is indirectly to the service of human life, this paper puts forward a new point of view that all of the "service-work" consists of productive-service labor and life-service labor, has the nature of productive labor. At the same time, from the research of the trend of "sterilization of manufacturing" and "service industrialization", this paper puts forward a new point of view that human life is increasingly showing a trend of "sterilization of life" and "life-service industrialization".b、This paper comes up a completely new theory of human nature. This paper thinks that human nature is the characters of human to connect with and differ from other animal, which includes these concepts, ideas and function represented by such phrases as life, nature, temperament, ethics and ability etc. Selfishness, greed, preference ease and comfort and hate labour are the common features of human and animal. It is the extermal performance of the material movement law of natural life. Reasonability is the essential character of distinguishing human from animal, and the commonness is the essential character of distinguishing social person from natual person. Human nature is the motive power for driving the development of modern service industry, and the progress of science and technology and the further division of labor is the direct cause of the development of the modern service industry.c、From the research on the history of development of human economic society, this paper puts forward the four stages theory of economic and social development, namely:agricultural economy times, industrial economy times, service economy times, and intellectual economy times. Accordingly, the industrial structure of human society in turn after agriculture, industry, service industry as the leading industry, human labor will be completely replaced by highly intelligent machine, and the theory of three industry division will become eventually history.d、Form the analysis and research of the practice of the development of modern service industry in home and abroad, this paper summarizes four strategies of the development of modern service industry in the international metropolis. Further more, after analyzing the basic characteristics and the basic condition of China’s regional super large city of China, this paper puts forward six basic strategies of developing modern service industry. At the same time, taking Hefei as an example, this paper analyses the strategic choice and measures of developing modern service industry when underdeveloped city in the process of oriented regional super large city’s.Ⅲ.The main conclusions and contributionThe main conclusions of this paper are:China’s regional super large city with political, economic, population, city construction and many other advantages should and can play the leading and exemplary role in fundamentally transforming the mode of economic development, accelerating the development of modern service industry.One of the main contributions of this paper is further improving the system of theories of regional economy and service economy, another one is providing theoretical reference and basis for China’s regional super large cities to make scientific strategic plans and policy measures of promoting modern service industry development. In addition, there is some reference for related research of center city, big city and small city developing modern service industry in the future.
