Theoretical And Empirical Study On The Cultivation Of Original Emerging Industries Based On The Original Cultivation Capability

The development of the industry promotes the development of human economic society, and the development level of industry has direct impact on the national or regional competition ability. In the current global market environment, emerging industry is becoming an effective means of promoting economic growth, improving the quality of economic development, and enhancing the competitiveness of countries or regions. For a country or region, reling mainly on the native regional power to cultivate and develop the original emerging industries has strategic significance. However, due to many factors influencing the technology, market, policy and external environment, on the one hand, China’s current some important emerging industries do not have the industrial key technology with independent intellectual property rights, so we can only find our place in the low end of industrial chain. On the other hand, a number of independent intellectual property rights of Chinese scientific and technology achievements, is yet difficult to realize industrialization, and form a original emerging industry in our country. Therefore, the need for a systematic study of the original emerging industry’s process and influence factors, and discussing how to effectively cultivate the original emerging industries is urgent,In this paper, pointing to the problems of the cultivation of original emerging industries, the concept of the original cultivation capability of emerging industries is put forward. Using the concept as a core, many factors and theirs mechanism of action affecting the cultivation of original emerging industries are analyzed. And empirical research methods are used to explore the effective cultivation path of original emerging industries. The main research work and innovation of this paper are as follows:Firstly, the concept of original emerging industries, and original cultivation capability of emerging industries (OCCEI) are put forward and defined, and the connotation of them are cleared. The concept of original emerging industries is puts forward. Through the comparative analysis of the concept of the ability of independent innovation and the ability of original innovation, based on the research on the concept and characteristics of the original emerging industry,a view is presented that the root causes of whether can obtain the success of cultivation of original emerging industries are considered to lies in having the ability to foster and develop the original emerging industries. The concept of original cultivation capability of emerging industries (namely the OCCEI) is originally put forward, and OCCEI refers to the capability, in order to meeting market hidden need, to integrating using various resources and services of behavior organizations, including enterprises, research institutes, universities, intermediary agencies and government, and making the country or region can breed with a emerging industry for the first time in a new industrial form on global, national or regional scope. From the point of view of purpose, the behavior subject, and base of support, the connotation of OCCEI is discussed in detail.Secondly, the measurement model of the OCCEI is constructed, and each primitive elements of OCCEI is discussed in detail. Based on the concept of OCCEI, a measurement model of OCCEI is constructed. OCCEI is considered not a single aspect capability, but a variety of comprehensive capability, specificly including eight dimensions, such as market innovation capability, knowledge innovation capability, technological innovation capability, product innovation capability, institutional innovation capability, cooperative innovation capability, evolving direction judgment capacity, and scale production capacity. The connotations of these eight dimensions capabilities are discussed in detail, and corresponding definition are gave based on the analysis of the existing research results respectively.Thirdly, cultivation model of original emerging industries is constructed, the research hypothesis is put forward, the measurement items of various constitutive in model are designed, and on this basis, the design of the questionnaire of empirical research is completed. The theory of the formation and development of emerging industries, enterprise capability and the industrial innovation system as the foundation, and based on the concept of OCCEI, a theoretical model of cultivation original emerging industries that contains many factors is constructed, such as the hidden need, resources and services, OCCEI, original technology breakthroughs, lead market, the formation of original emerging industry, innovative environment and environmental uncertainty, etc. Analysis based on this model, a series of research hypotheses are proposed. Further, the design of measurement item of each construct in the model is discussed, and the design of enterprise questionnaire about the cultivation of the original emerging industry is completed.Fourthly, an empirical analysis based on the questionnaires of 295 enterprises in the relevant areas of emerging industries in our country is conducted by PLS-based structure equation model. The conclusions of the empirical study is there are seven hypothesises in all hypothesises are established, that is, the original technology breakthrough and the formation of original emerging industries are positive related, the lead market and the formation of original emerging industry are positive related,the lead market and the original technology breakthroughs are positive related,the OCCEI and the original technology breakthroughs are positive related,the OCCEI and the lead market are positive related, the hidden need and the OCCEI are positive related, and resources and services and the OCCEI are positive related.But there are two hypothesises are not established,that is,the OCCEI and the formation of original emerging industry are not positive related,and resources and services and the formation of original emerging industry are not positive related. The empirical studies show that the OCCEI can directly support the realization of original technology breakthroughs in emerging industries, and the development of lead market, and eventually indirectly affect the formation of emerging industries;the hidden need and resources and services in emerging industries have significant positive correlation of OCCEI.Fifthly, an empirical study of the negative moderating effects of technical uncertainty, market uncertainty and macro environment uncertain to cultivate original emerging industries is made. According to the cultivation model of original emerging industries constructed in this paper, the regulating effect and the influence of environmental uncertainty on the formation of original emerging industry are further studied systematicly. In analysis, environmental uncertainty is divided into three specific aspects of technology uncertainty, market uncertainty and macro environmental uncertainty. Empirical analysis shows that the environmental uncertainty negatively regulates the relationship between the original technology breakthrough and the formation of original emerging industry, leading the market and the formation of original emerging industry. When the uncertainty is high, it will not be helpful to the formation of original emerging industry, and greatly reducing the promoting role in the original breakthrough to the formation of original emerging industry, not even pulling the leading market to the formation of original emerging industry.Sixthly, an empirical study of the positive moderating effects of innovation environment such as innovation system policy and innovation culture to cultivate original emerging industries i& made., According to the cultivation model of original emerging industries constructed in this paper, the regulating effect and the influence of innovation environment on the formation of original emerging industry, are further studied. systematicly. In analysis, innovation environment is divided into rwo specific aspects of innovation of system and policy and innovation culture. Empirical results show that the promotion of innovation environment can significantly improve the support of the hidden need, resource and service for OCCEI, and have a positive impact on the formation of OCCEI. At the same time, it also can significantly improve the support of OCCEI for the leading market, and have a positive effect on the application of OCCEI.
