Zoning is a part of the land use plan from the aspect of planning science. Land is identified by its fixed and physical nature, attributing to which the regional land use mode and structure to be planned are distinctive but also relatively consistent in an appropriate range. Therefore, in order to make full advantages of regional land and resources and adjust measures to local conditions, land use zoning is of necessary according to its regional feature. In this sense, land use zoning is to divide a planning area into different land use districts based on land utilization and land suitability evaluation, according to the comparability and diversity of area differentiation patterns, and further more play the key role for the macro adjustment and control of the land use.Scientifical and reasonable models are demanded for land use zoning. Tranditional models are mainly deal with structures on quantity and that on land use space arrangements are scarce. The initial zoning methods are at the level of qualitative, which are drawn by hand mostly by the way of map superposition and associated with evaluation indexes on suitability. With the development of technic improvement, such data processing work can be done by GIS in Man-computer interaction system, though make certain progress in land use zoning mode compared to the tranditional one, models for land use zone partition still remain deficient. Hence, more efforts are requied to be made on further studing of land use zoning model, to benefits that computer can serve as a better tool for the process of land use zoning, and thus support for the general land use plan in this new term.This dissertation mainly concentrates on the issue of spacial land use zoning at the county level, to give solutions on not only how to allot defferent zoning indexes but also how to locate each index to a more optimizational land use space. Aiming to quest for more reasonable and feasible idea for the general Ian use plan based on existing relative theory and methodology. To found a well maneuverable land use model, then demonstrate which with an compound intelligent optimization algorithms, and therefore such work is supposed to be more scientifical, intelligent and efficient that better benefit the general land use plan.First of all, the relevant basic theory and methods are outlined in the dissertation, principles and problems on land use zoning are summarized. Such researches to identify the land use zoning as a scientific proposition can make sufficient preparations for land use model discussions.In the third chapter, the model of land use zoning is studied as a spacial optimization issue. Some prior knowledge to distinguish land use zoning rules are generalized, and the general objective and restriction system, together with some confliction solutions of the general land use plan at county level are figured out, and based on which a four-elements structure model for land use zoning is described using mathematical language.In the fourth chapter, introduce the new idea of applying GA and TS compound intelligent optimization algorithms into the field of land use zoning problem, and put forward a GIS aided framwork to solve this problem. Associating definitions of specialized problems in land use zoning discussed in this dissertation with correlative concepts of intelligent optimization algorithms, relationships between the matter in real world and computer simulation are built. Method used in this dissertation is an inproved SGA, combined with the memory function of TS, and the key technical route for intelligent land use zoning is designed refered to such nesting TSM operator.Finally, demonstration researches are made according to all the discussions and conciderations on land use zoning model and inproved intelligent optimization algorithms promoted in this dissertation. From result analysis, such an intelligent, efficient, quantitative, scientific approach for land use zoning is proved to be validity.
