This thesis is a teaching practice for many years in space design as a summary.Years of teaching, through the numerous models, sketches, drafts of various forms of program design practice through their own experience, I am beginning to feel an increasingly clear picture, This relationship exists in many things around us and I've always been trying to dig out the concreteness of intuition, the seemingly "extrasensory perception of reality" (Alexis Carrel). With the native curiosity and inquiring mind like a child, I dare to pursue the magic behind this direct perception and immediate cognition. Teaching space design exploration is the process of education. Long-term teaching I gradually formed a unique teaching style, student advocate "direct intervention" program for "direct happen" intuitive feel a high degree of sensitivity, encourage initiative, to encourage students to self-confidence and self-judgment, these experiences in teaching research findings and contemporary educational thought is entirely consistent.This thesis consists of four parts:turn into a "introduction ", "hypothesis ", "practice" and "Summary." in the first part, the framework of the teaching of architectural space design and traditional teaching methods are analyzed. Based on my analysis of the purpose for starting this course, I proposed that the essence of it is not to teach practical design techniques but to invoke in students our innate "curiosity" for architectural space. It is this curiosity that can lead us to explore; interest is the best teacher in teaching architectural space design. The second part is the argument. Basic teaching points in space the main part of the basis of space in this part of the contemporary educational curriculum and a detailed discussion of the relationship, for the space to lay a theoretical foundation for teaching method. That "intuition, direct involvement and occurrence" is the core of the engine space basic course, proposed the "directly involved" in the space of teaching methods, and then analyzes the teaching of key point to note, as well as guide and establish learning method, and objectively dialectical understanding of the inherent relationship between the other teaching ideas. In this teaching ideas, the space to encourage students in the learning process, direct immersion and feeling of space, direct interest in the access for studying the state, in the active intuitive experience the full mobilization potential judgments in the positive thinking in the active internal logic.The third part of the "Practice" is the main content of teaching is a summary of many years of practice. Divided into five paragraphs, the texture space is discussed ("volume and existence"), the beauty of space ("the relationship between void and solid "), spatial understanding ("Structure and Enclosure"), the connotation of space ("the definition of space") and the space experience ("the understanding of scale")."Experience & Update" section discusses the extension space of experience in many fields; it covers both the perceptual experience of space and the practical experience in the design of space. It further extends to the discussion about methods used to understand things around us and the concept of unifying, echoing nicely with the first paragraph on abstract "experience".Concluding the discussion, the fourth part is the nature of education advocated by the space-basic teaching. Demonstrated through the teaching practice of "direct involvement" in the space of teaching consistent with the basic concept of modern education; and teachers and students discussed the interaction between both teaching and learning, the real significance is hard gardener irrigation rather than binding. It states that the value of the professor is to guide and help but not to constrain the students. It finally points out that tradition is indeed a dynamic and eternal revolution; freedom, diversity, communication, and the innermost initiative is the everlasting principle for keeping tradition alive and vigorous.
