Qin Bamboo Slips Book

The dissertation considers the six kinds of the excavated Qin bamboo materials.We use Wangguowei's "bi-evidence theory" that testify the document handed down from ancient times by the excavated materials,and research the meaning of Qin bamboo character from character and handwriting.We testify that the Qin character must recept the effect of the Zhou character.Moreover we clarify the relation between Zhuan character and Li character.The conclusion is that the character in the Qin bamboo and Qin Zhuan character have a common source,but they have different status in the development of the Chinese character.We analyse the effect of the Qin bamboo character to Han Li character and the efficacy of handwriting reasons in the evolution of character.This make the feat of handwriting researching useful in the studying course of charater.The thesis consists of the following parts:Introduction:This thesis's general train of thinking is summarized and introduce Qin bamboo documents.Part 1.We expound the evolution of Qin bamboo character.By the statement of the development of the character before the Qin bamboo character and the analysis of the relation of Qin bamboo character and XiZhou's character,we expound that the source of the character in the Spring and Autumn is same as the source of the character of the Warring State time.They continue the character in the bronze of Xi Zhou.Qin not only recepts the character of Xi Zhou,but its reception is decided by theregulation of the development of character, which is not related to thesituation,politics and the low culture.We expound the status of Qinbamboo character in the evolution of Chinese character by the analysis ofrelation of Qin bamboo character and Qin Xiaozhuan.Part 2.We analyse the six kinds of Qin bamboo character materials andconsider the characteristic of Qin bamboo character which have themeaning of Zhuan and have the characteristic of the later Li Shu(showingsharpness,twisting handwriting,lying handwriting and so on).Part 3.We consider the effect of handwriting reasons to Qin bamboocharacter in the evolution of the character from the materials,toolsposture,movement and so on.Part 4.We expound the direct relation of Qin bamboo character and HanLi character by the analysis of the effect of Qin bamboo character to HanLi character .There arenot any other courses in the middle,and testify thatHan Li character is divided from Qin bamboo character based on thecharacter and handwriting.Appendix l.We expound the meaning of Qin Liye bamboo character.Appendix 2.We list the affair of Qin dynasty from its founding to itsextinction.The list of Qin bamboo character.we clarify the Qin bamboo charactermaterials,and conclude two thousands of letters and show thecharacteristic of Qin bamboo character.
