Du Fu Verb Study

The Tang Dynasty is the most vigorous period for the development of Chinese classic verses. And the outstanding achievement of Tang's poems concentrated in the poems of Li Bai and Du Fu. The poems of Du Fu have been paying extensive attention all the time. And the phenomenon that hundreds of specialists noted the poems of Du Fu made them more puzzled. It makes the study of the poems of Du Fu more difficult that there are numerous of editions for the poems of Du Fu in which different words were used at the same place , accompanied with the abroad content, much information, puzzling words . The research of the verbs in the poems of Du Fu is beneficial to comprehend them more correctly, and is also able to improve the study of verse language by analyzing their characteristics.In this article the writer began the method to study the verbs in Du Fu's poems by combining linguistics and literature together, and all five parts of this paper aimed at the subject.In chapter â… , the accuracy and wonderfulness of the verbs in Du Fu's poems are embodied in language itself by emending the different verbs . It analyzed all the seven kinds of different words in Du Fu's poems. Besides the traditional methods, like amending according to poems' rhythm, acceptation discriminating, and artistic conception, the writer began to use a new method, which is to amend the words according to linguistics capacity .In chapter â…¡, the writer analyzed the verbs in Du Fu's poems standing at programmer . She sorted the verbs according to the characteristics of poems, calculated the times of some verbs, and analyzed their functions in phrasing.
