A Study On Interpretation Of An Individual Character By An Individual Character In Eastern Han

This dissertation studies interpretation of an individual character with an individual character of Eastern Han Dynasty. This dissertation consists of six parts:Part 1 is exordium, introducing the reason and significance of writing this interpretation, the assumption to write it and several issues correlated with the dissertation.Part 2 presents the theories and methods which are adopted by our dissertation.Part 3 classifies the modes of interpretation of an individual character with an individual character in text interpretation and dictionary interpretation, and analyses several important modes, and compares the function and characteristic of the two types of interpretations. The dissertation considers text interpretation intent to be understanded by readers, so its modes are diversiform and its subjectivity is a little more, but the intentation of dictionary interpretation is correct to explain the meaning of the character or the word, so it's more impersonal.Part 4 Classifies the same or different cases of interpretation of an individual character with an individual character in text interpretation and dictionary interpretation, then compares and analyses them in three aspect which are the same word interpreted with the same interpreting word, the same word interpreted with the different interpreting word and the different word interpreted with the same interpreting word, and studies the reason and relation of meaning. This part also discusses the reason what some words are used many times. These words in text interpretation are in common use, with many meanings and metalanguage, they in dictionary interpretation are names or character, most of them are nouns, verbs and adjectives and are used often, too.Part 5 chooses sixteen words in four different segments and search after the examples of using together, and count the number of being used together that is 156, in which the number before Eastern Han Dynasty is 106, and is 67.9% in all, the number in Eastern Han Dynasty is 26 and 16.7% in all, and the number after Eastern Han Dynasty is 24 and 15.4%.So the dissertation considers that it is not interpretation of an individual character with an individual character influences the production of paratactic mode, and not influences the number of paratactic mode in Eastern Han Dynasty increasing fast, but paratactic mode that can interpret itself influence interpreter which word to choose. This proves interpretation of an individual character with an individual character is scientific.Part 4 and part 5 analyse interpretation of an individual character with an individual character is scientific and impersonal in two ways, and find out it how to solve the limitation with itself.Part 6 recapitulates the process and conclusion of this study and introduces continuous study.
