This paper is about the Comparison research of Shooting sun-myth across the Taiwan Strait. In the widespread myth of the sun motif, there is a particular motif, that is, "shooting the sun", it is special that it is particularly concentrated on the across of Taiwan Strait. About the origin of the Taiwan Austronesian, there have been the uniform viewpoint that it was the descendants of ancient Chinese Baiyue. But now, with the more in-depth study, there are many different points of view. But more consistent view is that it is the Atayal or from mainland China. By comparison research on shooting sun-myth across the Taiwan Straits, I can provide much evidence for this statement.Chapterâ… , I have to explain the object of study and research methodologies.First, I study the myth motif. With the myth to spread, it will inevitably become folk tale. In the developed and civilized nations, it will also become literary. As strong Chinese influence of Confucianism, the Chinese Han also tend to the history of the myth. Therefore, in the first chapter, it is necessary to clarify the differences of myths and legends, folk tales, literary distinction. In addition to the Han's shotting sun-myth, there are more than two dozen ethnic minorities that have a much of shooting the sun myth. On the other side of the Taiwan Strait, there are seven Austronesian peoples have shooting sun-myth, Atayal and Bunun are the most variant two nations. And my main research method is motif analysis. In accordance with national scholars on the definition of motif, motif is the smallest works of folk narrative plot elements in the history of independent existence with the transmission of ability and tenacity of the inheritance. Limited number of their own, but through different combinations, it may put out of countless stories. These stories show a human community (clan, nation, country, or even all mankind) in the collective consciousness of the collective unconscious and even primitive. "Motif" as the myth of the analysis of elements, on the one hand they have their own possess by the typical meaning, on the other hand they have also the meaning and function of the relative stability. There is no doubt, "motif" itself is comparable, in the course of the study of "motif" as the Myth of the basic unit of analysis, we can not only insight into the myth of all ethnic groups, development and change in trajectory, but also help us through the myth of Motif horizontal comparative studies among various ethnic groups in depth understanding of the relationship between the same motif, thus we can identify national characteristics and cultural differences of the myth of all ethnic groups. In fact, many motifs show common characteristics, such as cross-ethnic, cross-border distribution which is conducive to traceability study; but also with extended horizontally contrast, there are multi-angle of various nationalities in China. This is Supplemented by a number of ethnologies and linguistics research. In Chapterâ…¡, I summary the distribution of the sun myth Overview in the worldThe myth of shooting sun is scattered in Africa and the Americas, but the most is scattered in the Taiwan Strait, Those are mainly distributed in China's southwest area.In the whole island of Taiwan, almost every the distribution of solar myths, including the plains, Atayal, Bunun, Yami, Saisiyat, Puyuma, Tsou, Paiwan, Rukai has shooting the sun myth, and the Atayal, Bunun plot complex have a lot of different text.In Chapterâ…¢, I will focus on analyzing shooting the sun myth of the mainland Han. From this popular myth, you can see the history of Han Chinese myth of the process. Hou Yi shooting the sun myth recorded in the "Shan Hai Jing", is not the oldest form of the myth, but through cultural exchanges, it is retained in a large number of the mainland minority myth.In Chapterâ…£I will focus on analyzing the overview of distribution of solar myths in he Taiwan Austronesian. There is a lot of different text of shooting the sun in Atayal and Bunun mythology, but these have their own emphases. Other ethnic nationalities, in addition to Ami and Shao, also have shooting the sun myth. The number and perplexity of Shooting the sun myth of Saisiat, Zou is less to the Atayal and Bunun's.Chapter Vwill compare the motif of shooting the sun myth across the Taiwan Straits in detail.I will divide five aspects of comparison for each of the myth. I come to the conclusion that the myth motif is similar and is inextricably linked, although according to the the present form, Taiwan's shooting the sun myth of ethnic minorities is more ancient than the mainland's, while the myth of mainland ethnic minorities is more ancient than the Han's, but this can not ignore the level of civilized development of all ethnic groups on the impact of the myth.Chapter V I will focus on analyzing the mainland to the myth of integration of ethnic separatism and In Taiwan a the importance of long-term impact of the spread of the primitive living conditions on the reservation form of the ancient myth.Chapter VII will conclude that Austronesian peoples of Taiwan and the mainland have more ancient myth of the sun shooting form and shooting the sun myth of the two sides is from the same motif. According to the situation on the island of Taiwan, shooting the sun tribe myths of Atayal and Bunun seem to have deep the impact of the Austronesian of Taiwan.Except Yami, other nationalites have immune source. By comparison of the myths of shooting the sun, I can draw a conclusion that at least for the Atayal and Bunun, the source of their myth is derived from the Chinese mainland, not in the form of cultural exchange, but in the form of ethnic separatism.
