Under the guidance of Marxist theory, by applying theories of political science, ethnics and sociology, and on the basis of an in-depth analysis of the basic definition and features of integrity and political integrity as well as the factors that affect those integrities, the author elaborates the theory and practice of political integrity of the collective leadership of the Communist Party of China (CPC), analyzes the major manifestations, harmfulness and causes of the defect of political integrity in current China, reveals the demand fundamental value of establishing the political integrity in current China, and finally discusses the ways to enhance the political integrity from two aspects, namely, the choice of system and the boost of morality. The author argues that political integrity is the summation of the various social activities and relationships that is conducted with political power as the core and features public characteristics in the public political domain; also, it is the thought and behavior of being honesty, seeking truth and pragmatism, observing rules, fulfilling promises, and practicing the existing treaties, which includes integrities of thought, goal, system and behavior. The theory and practice of CPC's collective leadership indicates the effect of the establishment of political integrity, which provides a theoretical guidance for further boosting political integrity. In this paper, from the "awareness of problems", the author makes an overall analysis on the lack of political integrity; points out its harmfulness; and finds out causes of the problem from historical tradition and realistic contradiction. The author emphasizes that responding public opinion, improving people's wellbeing, safeguarding justice, realizing benign governance been as the demand fundamental value should be taken as theoretical pivot and practical guidance. The author finally points out that the establishment of political integrity in current China needs system heteronomy, for which, efforts should be done in advancing the legalization of political integrity, enhancing the establishment of relevant systems of political integrity, and strengthening the implementation of those systems.In the meantime, China's political integrity also needs moral self-disciplinary, for which, enhancement of political integrity should be done by actively improving moral norms, education and practice.
