Product pricing is the foundation of the commodity economy, as also as the core scopes of the economic theory. This dissertation focus the product pricing under the condition of market economy, lucubrates the price theory and the pricing method of the market distributed personal goods and the regulated public utility goods.The contents of the dissertation include:1. By studying the property and the effective distribution manners of the social products, the research frame is established and main contents are limited;2. The market price theory is concisely reviewed, and the main contents of current price theory are discussed and synthetically commented on, then the undermentioned research field is put foreword;3. Researches the primary product pricing methods, includes the single-product pricing methods, the multi-products pricing methods and the enterprise strategic behaviors & pricing methods, part of these pricing methods are extended and deepened. This chapter and the market price theory constitute the integrated contents system above the current product price theory and pricing methods;4. The weakness of current price theory is that its focus is the given product & products pricing problem with the restriction of the enterprise profit target, merely deals with product choice, which is the most important matter going with the product pricing. The product quality index is defined to describe the types of the enterprise product. Two equilibrium models of enterprise product choice and pricing are put foreword: one is the model of product quality index choosing and the product pricing in single-period, another is the model of product quality index choosing and the product pricing in multi-periods. These models can be used by the enterprises which aim at single-period profit or multi-periods profits under the conditions of different produce technical level and market circumstances, and indicates the alteration trends when the exogenous factors of the models change;5. Researches on product choosing and pricing of oligopoly enterprise. Product differentiation is quantificationally depicted by product quality index. Concepts of consumer-anticipant product quality index and consumer-factual price are defined. Concepts of consumer reservation price and consumer demand price embodying product quality index are demarcated. The model of product choosing and pricingare established under the conditions of perfect information static games and perfect information dynamic games. These models demonstrate the equilibrium product choosing and pricing manners of the enterprise with different degree of operating lever and produce technology. Researches and indicates the alteration trends when the exogenous factors of the models change;6. Deeply researches on and partly extends the direct regulation pricing methods of public utility goods. The effectiveness of the direct regulation pricing methods of public utility goods is discussed using the means of game theory and imperfect contract theory. Deeply researches on the indirect regulation pricing methods of public utility goods, and brings foreword a effective pricing method of public utility goods. Researches on the probability and application conditions of constitute workable competition in public utility industries with the frame of contestable market and workable competition theories.The main innovations of the dissertation include:Points out the weakness of traditional product price theory. Defines the concept of product quality index. Puts foreword the product choosing and pricing models of single-period and multi-period, which lucubrate the enterprise equilibrium under the conditions of consubstantial consumer market, differentiate consumers market and multi-period running. These conclusions have important academic and practical signification.Applies game theory to research on the subject of product choosing and pricing of oligopoly enterprise.
