| The thoughts on socialist reform is one of Lenin's legacy to the course of socialism, even to the history of human beings. It's a plentiful treasure-house of intelligence which is worth excavating continuously.Based on the analyses to practical reasons, the philosophical basis and the ideological features of the formation of Lenin's thoughts, the author summarizes Lenin's concrete conceptions on conditions, directions and goals of reform according to the practical national conditions of Russia in his time, and reaches a whole-course understanding on Lenin's thoughts and practice on the reform. This thesis points out the process of a transformation from regulating the economical policy upon crisis to rebuilding the economical system geared to the future, the transfer from the reform in economy to the reform in political systems. The strategy of the economical and social development is regarded as the major plot throughout the transformation. The emphasis on the cultural foundation means deepening and systematizing the reform, because the cultural foundation is necessary in constituting the socialist reform and construction. The understanding mentioned above is the logical course of the development of Lenin's thoughts on reform and reflects the laws of the reform's own process.The main conclusions of this thesis can be included as the following: 1) Lenin's thoughts on reform reveal the particularity of the ways to construct socialism in the backward countries, it means in backward countries who are weak in economy and culture, it's necessary for them to build system modes combined with the practical conditions of their own. The modes are different from the one Marx and Engels had thought of. 2) The logic course of the development of Lenin's thoughts on reform is the inevitable reflection of the course of practice in backward countries. 3) Lenin's explorations on theory and practice on the socialist reform are instructive for the socialist construction and reform in today's China.
