A Research On The Model And Application Of PSE For Web-Based Regional Economic Growth

Based on the research on Web-based regional economic PSE, we analyze the development and application of Web-based regional economic PSE, and try to setup this PSE and apply it to study economic problems. We do the following job: design and construct data warehouse, choose and modify economic model, integrate data warehouse and economic models with Object Oriented Technology and web program technology and finally develop Regional Economic PSE based on web. At last we discuss real world problem in application of PSE on economy.Firstly, we review and analyze literatures. Based on explaining the development and relative researches of GIS, DSS, DW and DM, we analyze the integrated problems, and then decided to do research on regional economic PSE based on web to solve the real world economic problem. So we set our study way.Secondly, we did demand analysis for regional economic PSE from the view of Object Oriented Design. Based on this, we establish some key problems in PSE development. For instance, relation of attributions in model, interface, data entry and result output. At last, we finish the prepare system design of developing PSE.Thirdly, we need to build up database to keep the data for Data Mining, and based on the analysis of economic data warehouse, data table and the problems of data granularity , data partition and the structure of data warehouse, we set the Star Structure of regional macro economic analysis, and we design the fact table and dimension table for data warehouse. So we design and construct economic data warehouse and fulfill economic data entry, transfer, store and management. And provide data originality for economic accounting.Fourthly, we analyze and choose economic accounting models. After review these models wechoose the economic growth accounting model proposed by Barro (1999) to study the economicdevelopment Problems, Green economic accounting proposed by Cairns (2000) and Asheim(2000) to study environmental pollution and nature resource depletion problems, andComputable General Equilibrium Storm model (1997) to study the equilibrium problems, combinethem and then modify to produce new model.Fifthly, we use object-oriented program language JAVA to fulfill the integration of Web-based regional economic PSE. We accomplish data warehouse and model computing function during realizing the PSE integration. User can do economic accounting research though web site.Finally, being an application of system, we analyze macro economic growth problems and equilibrium problems by using the Web-based regional economic PSE, from both macro and equilibrium point of view. After computing TFP of Shanghai with economic accounting model, we concluded that:1. It is not difficult to see that, Shanghai's higher capital growth is contribution to the growth of Shanghai's GDP, at same time, technology progress is still contribution to the growth of Shanghai's GDP.2. We can say that, in the recent 50 years, Shanghai's economic growth quickly, but it is achieved based on the environmental pollution and nature resource depletion. Fortunately, people pay more attention to environment pollution and resource consume and this is shown in the Shanghai economic development which emphasizes on harmonize economic development and environment protection to increase resource utility.3. We analyze the impact of the change of economic policy on Chinese surplus rural labor transfer. And we got a serial of conclusions: It shows that price of primary products change, fertilizer price change and wage rate change of non-farm industry can have great effect on surplus rural labor transfer. Meanwhile price changes of farm product and fertilizer is against surplus labor transfer but non-farm industry wage rate increase will speed surplus labor transfer.
