Study On Structural Complexity Of Modern Enterprise Group And Its Growth Mechanism

With the development of economy globalization and information technology, economic form breaks through the three tradition demarcations on industry, and appears the development trend of high osmosis and diversification among industries. The enterprise expands faster and faster, and its scale becomes bigger and bigger, development of modern enterprise begins to appear the characteristics of structural complexity: the composite structure replaces the simple structure, the collectivizing operation becomes the new model of enterprise growth; multi-units management replaces the single management, business coordination becomes the new source of enterprise growth; speed economy replaces scale economy, sustainable development becomes the new content of enterprise growth; cooperation competition replaces absolute competition, and the structural opening becomes the new choice of enterprise growth. Facing the present new question on enterprise growth, the traditional enterprise growth theories reveal some limitations in the choice of study view and decision of method. Therefore, according to the basic characteristics of structural complexity, this paper takes the modern enterprise group as the research object, applies modularity management theory, follows the consecution of " structure analysis -static analysis - dynamic analysis - open analysis", and studies the structural complexity of the modern enterprise group and its growth mechanism. The major contents are as follows:1. The basic characteristics of structural complexity of the modern enterprise group are revealed, and the model of structural modularity analysis of modern enterprise group is put forward. The paper analyses three kinds of basic models of the information interrelation in organization, proves the producing mechanism of the information assimilation model of modern enterprise group, applies the method of value chain analysis to study of economic technical interrelation among the operating modules, constructs the concept model of structural modularity analysis of modern enterprise group and its mathematic denotation, and discusses the feasibility of the model application.2. The common laws of enterprise growth are summarized, the mechanism of intensive growth of modern enterprise group is proved. Combining with the practice of development of modern enterprise group, the paper analyzes the forms of growth of modern enterprise group, concludes the common laws of enterprise growth by the model of enterprise modularity analysis. Besides, this thesis studies the effects of the equilibrium of enterprise value chain structure to its growth, proves the mechanism of economic technology matrix of enterprise value chain deciding the growth speed of modern enterprise group, puts forward the approach of modern enterprise group realizing growth from the angel of complexity, points out the intension of the mainly present enterprise growth theories, such as scope economy theory, diversification theory and globalizationoperating theory.3. According to inherent law of modern enterprise group highly gro wing-up, From the dynamic system view, the inducting mechanism of structural conversion of the enterprise value chain impacting on the growth of modern enterprise group is studied. Aiming at the dynamic characteristic of structural complexity in the capital operation of modern enterprise group, the paper puts forwarand the decisive model of business choice on modern enterprise group based on structural analysis, analyses the effect of core operating module in the structural conversion, studies the inducting effect of this dynamic conversion to the growth of modern enterprise from the aspects of supply and demand, discusses the two key problems on modern enterprise growth, which are the effective utilization of resource and the maximum of output.4.
