| Agricultural sustainable development (ASD) is the direction and inevitable choice for future agricultural development. At present, there are many factors in China restricting agricultural development, such as market, technology and policy etc. According to characters of regional resources and the current situation of agricultural development, how to choose suitable technical stratagems and policies is a great task which urgently need to be solved. This paper used for reference from the latest relevant results at home and abroad, set up the classification method of the regional agriculture structure types, and researched technology choice and policy stratagem of ASD in different region from nation, province and county 3 levels. Now the major results and conclusions studied in the paper are abstracted as follows:1. we considered that ASD is coordinative and unified of agricultural resources sustainability, agricultural economy sustainability and agricultural ecological environment sustainability, and based on this foundation, we constructed the index evaluation system, evaluation model and comprehensive evaluation methods of regional agriculture structure types classification.2. Take the America and Israel for examples, by analyzing the technical stratagems and policies choice of ASD from national level, we can get these main conclusions:(1) American belongs to the type of country which is relatively rich in agricultural natural resources, and economy is relatively high developed. Farmland for each farmer is large and the agricultural population is few, only makes up 2.2% of the total population, agricultural labor force resource is relatively lack, the opportunity cost is high. So the technical orientation of American agriculture attaches importance to the improvement of labor force's efficiency, makes use of its labor force resources efficiently. The average product of American agricultural labor force is as high as 127 times to China] while the yield and production value of the unit farmland is much less than China.(2) Israel is a small desert country that is not only short of water, but also of farmland. However, its economy is relatively high developed, the agricultural population makes up 2.7% of the total population, and the labor force resource is relatively lack. Agricultural technical orientation in Israel is to pay much attention to the utilization efficiency of farmland and the improvement of productivity. Its unit farmland product value and the average product value of agricultural labor force is respectively 11 times and 199 times to china.3. Our national agriculture totally belongs to the structure type of which is relatively lack in natural resources, and economy is relatively less developed. The outstanding character of agricultural resources is that the unit farmland and water is less, but agricultural labor force resource is abundant. The character of development of agricultural economy is: the agricultural labor force's productivity is low, farmer 's income increases slowly. All these factors determine that ASD in our country can't be applied to the extension model which by increasing investment to increase output, but to adapt to the intension model of making use of agricultural resource by the technology innovation. The main orientations of agricultural technology are to improve the utilization efficiency of agricultural resource such asfarmland and water, utilize the labor force resource reasonably, increase the farmer's income, work hard on improving the agricultural ecology environment and so on.4. Taking Shouguang county of Shandong province, Wuchuan county of Inner Mongolia and Liuyang county of Hunan province for examples, we made empirical analysis of ASD technical strategy of the countywide level, the main conclusions are as follows:(1) Shouguang county belongs to the agricultural type of which is relatively lack in agricultural natural resources, agricultural economy is relatively high developed, agricultural ecological environ...
