| Nowadays, the human is going through a marvelous revolution called as The Network Revolution in history. The cybereconomy refers to all e-conomic activities that are based on network. Facing with booming cybereconomy, the traditional theories and principles of economy have been re -scanned , and it is generally noticed that the problem of network influencing on regional economy which based on the differences of regions. What are the influences and changes the cybereconomy brings to regional economy? How does regional economy work against the background of cybereconomy? What measures does different regions take facing with the chances and challenges brought by cybereconomy? All of above are theoretic and realistic issues that can't be avoided when studying regional economy. Meanwhile, China is at the stage of propelling industrialization and informationlization, developing and taking full use of cybereconomy is a practical way to adhere to our new conception of development, practice a new road to industrialization, properly deal with the relationships that follow, the relationship between High - Tech industries and traditional industries, the relationship between capital - intensive industries, technology - intensive industries and labour - intensive industries,the relationship between visual economy and real economy, etc.This dissertation describes and explains the new natures and structure of regional economy against the background of cybereconomy, based on the identification of its concept and relative concepts. It also explores different modes and approaches for different types oi regions , especially less - developed regions in west China , to make use of cybereconomy and achieve leap - forward development .In view of its content, the dissertation is divided into two parts. One includes the first, second, and third chapters that focus on theoretic analysis. This part explores the influences on regional economy brought about by cybereconomy , based on the identification of the concept of cybereconomy and relative concepts. It also describes and explains the new natures and structure of regional economy against the background of cybereconomy. The other includes the forth, fifth, sixth, seventh chapters, which deal with practical issues. In this part , a present issue that is concerning how to take advantage of cybereconomy to accelerate development , for all kinds of regions is discussed . In view of its method, the positive and normative methods are taken in this dissertation .Firstly, this dissertation explains the scientific connotations and phases of cybereconomy. According to the dissertation , the reason of the development of cybereconomy is that general acceptance of internet in society, and which provide the transition and cope of information with a convenient platform, which make more and more economic activities be based on internet. Cybereconomy , not only means industries which consider computer and computer net as a core, and supply modern information and technology service, that is tosay information technology industry; but also includes many new economic ac-tivities and industrial department, which are brought out by the combination and interference of computer net and traditional industries.The spatial natures of economic activities are the objective foundation of regional economy . It is a basic character that distinguishes regional economy from other economic activity regularity, discussing the economic activity regularity in view of space. The existence and prosperity of cybereconomy will have great influence on the objective foundation of regional economy existence. Summarizing the discussing that the base on which regional economy rely, the dissertation discourses that the objective foundation of regional economy exists, analyses the characters and presentations of regional economy existence, and points out the new questions that is confronted, on the background of cybereconomy.
