Social practice needs the related theoretical guidance. To construct socialist harmonious society also needs a certain methodology to direct it. In modern times, In modern times, there appears the tendency of globalization and unification in the world. The political, economical and cultural communication between different nations and territories are greatly enhanced. Many new problems have emerged in both theoretical and practical scope. That indicates we need related theory to guide to deal with them, and need a non-contradictory new methodology to guide us. This new methodology should aim at harmony, ie., it can be used to coordinate all kinds of social contradictions, and also can be used to collocate all kinds of social and natural resources and make them complemented, and meanwhile, it can compatibly use and lift up the excellent achievements in human civilization and technological development. But at present, the existed philosophical mode of thinking and methodological system center on the contradictory thinking and contradictory analysis method, and lack of ripe strategy while dealing with multi-coordination and multi-progress.In fact, while from the very beginning of the human culture, the harmonious thoughts were placed in an important post. The human history especially the history in nearly 100 years tells us that harmony is the prelude and the highest goal of a well-rounded developing society. As the inherence request and the important striving target of the continuable development of socialism, the harmonious thoughts should run though out the passage of modernization. But for long time, the study of harmonious thoughts has been staying on the level of thinking and not concluding why the things are harmonious from their origin and thus not reached to the height of methodology. Their methods cannot guide practices directly and lack of maneuverability. Traditional dialectical methodology centers on contradictory analysis and stresses much on struggle. They are bond in the logic from one contradiction to another and they regard contradiction as the power ofdevelopment and neglect harmony and that harmony is the power of continnuable development. So to build up compatible uplift methodology that with which the harmony is the goal and harmony is used to regulate contradiction to realize continuable development is the inevitable development of human society and conclusion of rethinking over the traditional methodology. To do research work on the construction of compatible uplift methodology, and to set up compatible uplift mode of thinking which is beyond contradictory thinking can direct the coordination and transformation of the social contradictions, avoid conflicting and struggling and make the whole society development harmoniously.
