New Chinese National Policy Process And Empirical Research

The harmonious society building, sustainable development and well-off society building in Chinese ethnic regions and minority nationalities will be ever supported by ethnic policy and views of scientific development. So a correct ethnic policy needs scientific theory to support. In China, the ethnic policy is being led by Marxist ethnic theory, and has succeeded in solving series ethnic problems in the process of Chinese revolution and construction.Series of interrelated issues need to be searched for, for example, who constitutes policy, which procedure accords with law, what aims at, even its range, its effective time and its executive methods and included. Under the new circumstances of building socialist market economy system, such as economic system transition and society transformation, developments of the ethnic regions and minority nationalities in China have to face with many problems. The ethnic policy and policy process should advance with times and serve the people well.
