Research In Right To Report News

Right to report news is an important part for composing the freedom of news, as an important right of media, right to report news is only a constitutional right without protection from special press release at present. Our Country is in the period of reforming that there inevitably happened conflict between right to report news and citizens'right of reputation and privacy and national judicial authority, national security, and media tort cases is showing an increasing tendency. The classical legal precedents in judicial practice in Western Countries have provided us beneficial model to understand and balance these conflicts of right. In accordance to some practical utilization, it is of great importance to strongly discuss the prominent problems in media tort, to summarize some principles which should be followed in the judicature combining with the concrete practice in our Country and also to give some constructive suggestions. In addition, it provides some references for our country's research in legislation of news. Based on those understanding, I chose"Research in Right to Report News"as the subject of this research paper for my doctor degree dissertation.There are seven parts in this paper in total.The first chapter is the foundational theory about right to report news.
