This paper aims to study the relationship between the change of administrative reginalization and local society (community) in Shannxi Province from 1368 to 1949. For a long time, the mainstream of study on historical administrative reginalization geography is the recovery of longitudinal change of administrative reginalization in history period.Four sections mainly organize the dissertation.Section one discusses the course of change of administrative reginalization in Shannxi Province during 1368 and 1949 in the mass.Section two discusses the relationship between capital of local administrative reginalization, administrative borderland and local society (community) staticly.Section there discusses between the change of administrative reginalization and local society (community) dynamicly.潼关(Tongguan) is a emblematical area that take place great changes in the local administrative reginalization. The north region of Shannxi Province, bordering on Inner Mongolia, is a emblematical area that take place great changes the inner of local society. For two examples, it both analyzes the relationship between the change of administrative reginalization and local society (community) for a long time (Ming to Republic of China). In auctorial point of view, community development and environmental variation both belong to the changes inner of local society. Therefor, it necessary for this section to analyze the area of黄龙山(Huanglong Mountain) and Pingmin County (平民县).Section four is whole-length conclusion. At last, it is easy to understand that the problems discussed of region and the relationship between human being and entironment are very important for today historical geography based on the front of there sections.
