| With the development of economic globalization, sports activities globalization, and the constant increasing of our country's economy, being our country's important winter game, skiing sports play an important role in promoting the humorous development of competitive sports and mass sports. The development of skiing sports is making great contribution to the development of competitive sports, as well as to the prosperity of sports industry and sports culture. On one hand, its contribution to the even development of our winter games and instant development of overall strength can't be ignored; on the other hand, the development of skiing sports will definitely help with the formation and development of the industrial chain of mass skiing and winter sports, hence, enrich the sports culture, and then contribute to the political, economical, cultural and environmental development.Sustainable development is the common goal in every field of the world. However, after searching large amount of documents, we find that our study on sustainable development is far behind the reality of our competitive sports development, also behind the current study on sustainable development theory. This paper tries to form a sustainable development frame system for our country's skiing sports to provide theoretical foundation to the sustainable development of skiing sports, and to provide statistical support to our country's relevant policy.With the combination of scientific development view and the skiing sports reality in our country, using documentary method, interview method, and investigation method, the paper makes a systematical analysis and discussion about the basic country background, historical background and political background and points out that our country's skiing sports development is affected by policy, economical development and skiing sports development itself. Therefore, in our country's economic transforming period, the sustainable development of the skiing sports is especially important.After we enter WTO, sports come into a totally new period with new chances and new challenges. Skiing sports also enters a rapid developing period. This paper, focusing on skiing sports, analyses and studies the skiing sports development, combining the theory of sustainable development. It also discusses the three basic systems forming skiing sports development:environmental systematic, economic systematic and social systematic sustainable development and the coordination of the three systems using theories and tools like:systemization, economics, developing economics, ecological and environmental economics. At last, with the support of sustainable development evaluation theory and method, the paper makes evaluation on skiing sports sustainable development in our country. The conclusions are as following:1. Combining with sustainable development theory, the paper points out the notion of skiing sports sustainable development and the connotation and mechanism of current skiing sports sustainable development.2. After the systematical analyses of the shortcomings of present environmental policies on skiing sports, the paper puts forward the economic solution to skiing sports environmental policies, and analyses the solution from science, utility and manageability aspects.3. The paper analyses the effect mechanism of skiing sports economic growth, economic elements, and industrial framework on environmental quality and poses some ideas to promote the development of skiing sports.4. Based on the present situation of skiing development in our country, the paper makes analyses on the government administration level and planning management level, and puts forward effective proposals.5. This paper makes an outlay for the evaluation index system and overall evaluation methods in skiing sports sustainable development. The idea of this evaluation index system provides scientific evidence and new methods and tools for the evaluation of skiing sports sustainable development.
