Changes in social structure bring the variation of the urban spatial structure, resulting in the urban spatial segregation phenomenon, namely urban living division: based on the difference in some subjective factors or objective factors such as race, religion, occupation, life habits and cultural level or wealth and etc, urban residents witn similar features are inclined to set in a particular community, those without same features is formed to reside in the separate and different types of residential areas, living space partition also widen the mental distance between communities. Compared the spatial segregation phenomenon in our country with those nations dominated by the race culture isolation and nations influenced by the welfare system in European cities, the spatial segregation phenomenon in our country shows difference in forms and the same in essence, thus we call the phenomenon as " similar urban spatial segregation".The most vivid characteristics of the"similar urban spatial segregation"are social stratum division in the living space between the rich and the poor and it is the representation of social stratum polarization in the living space. The spatial isolation is the universal state, with human group entering civilized era and it will be accompanied throughout all the urban development process. The spatial segregation includes physical spatial segregation, social spatial segregation and mental spatial segregation. Analyse of urban spatial segregation must hold two important dimensions: one is the geographical spatial segregation and the social space solutions, the second is the isolation in mutual emotional and the urban spatial segregation is combined with this three kinds of isolations. The study on this subject has important theoretical significance and practical significance. Late 1970s, western sociology opened the space research for modernity. But in our country the study on the urban space is few, so the exploration in the paper in the basic characteristics of isolation, the formation mechanism and the social effect discussion can promote the understanding of this problem. In western countries, the social isolation based on the race and the wealth be regarded as the causes of the social conflict and many problems such as inner city poverty, and they have to pay a terrible price for the setback of social development. But in our country community the issue that how to keep equity and efficiency in the social space configuration during the process of class differentiation the social space configuration have not yet received high attention. Based on the analysis of urban spatial distribution features , the measures of harmony living environment construction and making reasonable city housing policy , the paper must have definite clear practical relevance and practical significance.Urban spatial segregation has existed for a long time, but stage of theoretical discussion on the subject is short. Western urban sociology provide us some analytical theory perspective in spatial segregation phenomenon, we can draw nutrition from its extraordinary splendors theory for reference. Problem with our domestic existing research is the definition of the "space" is indistinct, the concept of social space remains to be subdivided clearly; the logical deduction theory is more and empirical experience research is rare; the research on Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou and other serious city is more and medium and small cities research is few. In view of the existing research, this paper adopts qualitative research methods combining with structure interviews and questionnaire to discuss"similar urban spatial segregation", our sample is Qiqihaer, a northeastern city. This paper is based on the field social investigation of three different types of community and analyzes the definition, cause, and social influence and solution of urban spatial segregation phenomenon. This paper argues that many facts constitute the source of power of urban spatial segregation, such as the embedment of the strength of the market economy, the gap's widening of social wealth, the differentiation in housing market , the reform of city housing system and land use system, and the establishment of the people's property, etc. As the end of the redistribution housing system and the reform of the residential marketization, commercialization, welfare housing distribution system is over,We establish and perfect multilevel housing supply system which bases mainly on residence houses for low-and-medium wage earners, it gave people a numerous opportunity to choose where to live according to their own economic situation, which results in a class type of residential spatial isolation mode based on the class differentiation. The"similar urban spatial segregation" is not only an opportunity but also a great challenge for the community construction. First, the space isolation helps to put into effect the principles of classified management and guidance, so as to strengthen the guidance of community service and improve the level of urban community construction and management. The second, the class type communities help to shape community emotion and form peculiar "neighborhood effect". Thirdly, isolated community contribute to public participation for the residentsThe negative effect on the similar urban spatial segregation should arouse our attention. First, from the personal perspectives, the city space social polarization and isolation shaping, curing rich-poor opposites, the homogeneous cluster effect will further hinder the communication between different classes if the people from the same class gathered more frequently. In the second place, from the city of urban space perspectives, the social polarization and isolation will exacerbate poverty's production and reproduction, make social poverty group arise relative deprivation feeling and rejection, thus increasing the difficulties in urban social management. Thirdly, from the national view, the segregation between the poor and the rich make class difference materialize and the urban space polarization visualize , In the long run it will arouse social discontent, contradictions and conflicts, even affecting social harmony and stability. For the purpose of eliminate the similar urban spatial segregation and establish space justice, first, we should set up a reasonable social class structure which middle-class dominate so as to solve wealth gap between rich and poor fundamentally and regulate spatial segregation in the reasonable scope. Secondly, we should reposition the value of the government management; the government will play the leading role of mixed residence. By means of urban planning to promote urban heterogeneity and prevent the marketization of housing market excessively. Thirdly, we will formulate rational housing supply policy. Enterprise should construct strictly according to the government planning and earn reasonable profits, not to manipulate house prices, actively participate in and the construction of affordable housing. The fourth is to improve the city community management mode and create a good interpersonal interaction space. Therefore we should perfect the mixed community quality, beautification community environment and provide perfect service facilities, provide high-quality public services. This paper puts forward three forms of spatial segregation (material space segregation , social space segregation and psychological space segregation) and the evaluation standard of the spatial segregation, applicable scope and the relations with the class stratification. In the view of a complicated society-space structure, explore the basic characteristics of urban spatial segregation, forming mechanism and the social impact, strive to construct theoretical analysis frame and promote the knowledge of urban sociology during the market economic transformation process.
