Transition Period Chinese Urban Community Non-governmental Organizations Development - The Case Of Shanghai

Since the 1990's, urban community constraction under the actively promoting of Ministry of Civil Affairs has become a stirring social phenomenon in china's urban society; Meanwhile, Grass-roots Organization generated from urban community grew rapidly. With deepening of community construction, there are many questions occurring such as participating in insufficiently, lack of community sense, slow process of community autonomy with which community construction confronted. As the new developing Grass-roots Organization of community, what is its function position during community construction? What relations will its development and community construction be? This paper selected Grass-roots Organization of urban community as research object.
