Physics textbook occupied a decisive position in physics education in senior middle school. he textbook, which restricts the choices of teaching contents, teaching mode, teaching media and (?) on, is not only the resource of educating content, but also the key factor influencing curriculum (?)form of elementary education. In order to monitor the quality of textbook for Senior Middle chool, Department Two of Elementary Education of National Ministry of Education sponsored (?)vestigation Research on Textbook Application of New Curriculum for Senior Middle School. For (?)e quality is the main factor of influencing textbook's application, the evaluation criteria surly eeds to be made so as to make scientific and effective judgment. So this study would be proved to ave positive effect on curriculum reform in elementary education and textbook improving for the hysics education in senior middle school.Physics is one of the most important nature subjects. The quality of physics textbook has a irect relation with the quality of physics education in senior middle school and partly will (?)fluence the improvement of comprehensive national strength and the populace's cultivation. The (?)eoretical value of this study is providing reference for curriculum reform of physics course in enior middle school and enriching curriculum theory by discovering the evaluation indicator ystem on physics textbook. The practical value is meeting the requirement of curriculum reform nd improving the populace's scientific cultivation.The key problem of this study is how to constructing a evaluation indicator system for physics extbook of new curriculum in senior middle school, which should has theoretical basis, clear valuation goal, relative perfection of indicator and shall be operational and effective, based on the (?)ethod of combining subjective and objective analysis and considering various views from experts, ditors, users, administrators, esp. the teachers and students. The whole study contains 7 parts:(1) (?)eoretical connotation of physics textbook evaluation of senior middle school; (2) the reference (?)om other evaluation indicator systems; (3) the feedback on this study from experts, editors, superfine teachers, teaching and research personal, disciplines, directors of teaching affair and group chiefs of preparing lesson group. (4) the view and feedback from teachers and the variance among them. (5) the view and feedback from students and the variance among them. (6) the view variance among experts, teachers and students. (7) the weight system for the evaluation indicator system.This study based on 5 proposals:Proposal 1:the evaluation indicator system has good validity and reliability among this study sample.Proposal 2:in the evaluation indicator system, all indicators are important and there are significant differences among them.Proposal 3:in the evaluation indicator system, there are significant differences among different teachers with different background toward the importance of indicators.Proposal 4:in the evaluation indicator system, there are significant differences among different students with different background toward the importance of indicators.Proposal 5:in the evaluation indicator system, there are significant differences among experts, teachers and students toward the importance of indicators.This article was divided into six parts:the first part is brief introduction, which contains the introduction on curriculum reform, textbook constructing, the value of study and its methods, such as document analysis, Delphi, questionnaire, FAHP and statistics. The second part is literature review, which reviewed the evaluation research on textbook home and abroad, the research on evaluation of physics textbook and its development trend. The third part is the preliminary construction of the evaluation indicator system, which contains the confirmation of evaluation goal, the preliminary idea on the evaluation indicator system and its connotation analysis. The forth part is employing Delphi to establish practicable evaluation indicator system by consulting experts about the evaluation criteria for physics textbook in senior middle school. The fifth part is the views from textbook users, which aims to understand teachers and students view with different background, and the differences among the three groups. The sixth part is the weight constructing for the evaluation indicator system, which is based on the method of FAHP and group analysis. The seventh part is the conclusion and suggestion.The conclusion manifests as follows:1. The evaluation indicator system of this study contains 3 first-class indicators,8 secondary-class indicators,33 third-class indicators and 53 standards of grading, which show highly feature of time and local. The system has achieved high credibility by the examination on it's coefficient of inner consistency of individual elements, and high validity by the crossed-examintion of exploratory and confirmatory factor analysis.2. The indicators and the standards of grading are all important in the system. Among them, "content attribute" is the most important (relative weight value:0.552), "teaching attribute" ranks econd place (relative weight value:0.342), "identification attribute" ranks the last (relative weight alue:0.124). Among the "content attribute", "1.1 goal congruence" ranks the first place (relative eight value:0.263), "1.2 content selection" ranks second (relative weight value:0.192), "1.3 (?)ntent organizing" ranks the last (relative weight value:0.097); among "teaching attributee", the elative weight value for "2.1 teaching design" is 0.173, "2.2 learning evaluation" 0.077 and "2.3 (?)aching resource" 0.074; among "identification attribute", the relative weight value for "3.1 (?)nguage expression" is 0.094 and "3.2publishing design" is 0.030.3. There are no significant differences between experts and teachers on the importance of (?)idicators, while both of them are far higher than students.4. The following physics teacher group paid more attention on the evaluation indicators:the (?)male teachers, the teachers on rural area, teachers in county-level senior middle school, teachers (?)ho have 6-10 year teaching experience, teachers who have 3-5 year teaching experience in senior (?)iddle school, the officially secondary-level teachers in senior middle school, the teachers who are sing the textbook published by Shandong Science and Technology Press and the teachers who ave involved into curriculum reform.5. The following student group paid more attention on the evaluation indicators:the students (?)province capitals and cities and the students using the textbook published by People Education ress.The conclusion has proved the former proposals. Based on the investigation and research, this (?)ticle provided several suggestions for administrating, editing physics textbook, and rofessionalization of physics teachers and direction of further research.
