The humanity, specification and operability of index system are important factors affecting the objectivity of students' evaluation of teaching. So, construction of a students' evaluation of teaching index system suited for students' cognitive development and characteristics is an important presupposition for carrying out students' evaluation of teaching successfully. However, the index system is usually constructed by the office of academic affairs in many of universities in China. Teachers, as the subject of the index system, have no voice. Moveover, as the object of the index system, students'intellectual level and structure and cognitive development characteristics failed to be considered. So it is unavoidable failure in practice.This article researched the construction of students' evaluation of teaching indicator system based on constructivism theory, information asymmetry and customer satisfaction theory. First of all, it recalled the present condition of students' evaluation of teaching, and defined students' evaluation of teaching and indicator system.Secondly, it discussed the importance of students' evaluation of teaching indicator system from three aspects, students, teachers and schools: guaranteeing the reliability and validity for the result of students' evaluation of teaching, improving the teacher's teaching efficiency, promoting the institutions of higher education reformation and development. Although students' evaluation of teaching indicator system is very important, the current index system have existed some problems, such as generality, obscurity, nonindependence, and stereotypy of the index.Thirdly, it put forward move perfect index system in view of the present problems of students' evaluation of teaching indicator system, based on the key elements of the investigation and the Analytic Hierarchy Process.Finally, it made up with testing questionnaire of the effect of teaching on the base of students' evaluation of teaching indicator system, and took some teachers of the Three Gorges University as an example to assess the quality of education in use of fuzzy comprehensive evaluation approach. The result from this evaluation approach is in accord with the result of instructional supervision group. At the same time as it evaluated the quality of teaching in use of this approach, it diagnosed the strength and weakness about the teaching, which help the teachers try to clear the orientation improved.
